It's a bit of a long shot, but get an early goal at home, and the comeback is absolutely still on.

We can score 3 or 4 no problem, no confidence in keeping a clean sheet though.

We just look really badly coached the last few seasons, shambolic defending, awful final 3rd play etc.

This was a game I thought we'd set up solid and look to stay in the tie. How wrong could I be?! Pep got this wrong tactically and the players looked lost and confused. There are many talented players in this squad but tonight showed how far off the top level they are!

Spot-on. With no midfield we had no chance. We showed them no respect and got what we deserved.

No manager's "method" works in knockout football perfectly. If it did, one manager would have won it more than 5 times. And Ancelottis are spread from 2003 to 2024.

Pep was brought in to dominate the CL, one win in a decade isn’t domination.
Yes we did dominated domestically but that was a given, we have the best academy, best facilities, bags of money.

Pep has helped attract big name players and when he goes that will be a factor, but, we have had far too many of these selection fuck ups, square pegs round holes. I think he’s now fucking the players, at times they look lost. I have faith in the players, but not the manager.

We look so unfit….no press whatsoever and no midfield….not helped by the set up from Pep.

Thought Doku was our best player but why does he always have to take that extra touch which means he rarely gets the ball into the box.

No idea why he doesn’t try Gonzalez in the middle with Rodri to give us a chance of some control.

A midfield of Gonzalez, Rodri, Cherki and O’Reilly would have won that game for us tonight. ( leaving out Savinho and one of Bernardo or Semenyo)

O’Reilly has not played at fullback for quite a while….why start him there tonight.

Haaland coming in for a lot of criticism but we do not play to his strengths and he gets no service at all.

Didn't the Arse set piece coach (Jover) work at City once, but Precious Pep doesn't do set pieces, and he's not gonna change now!

The ball just didn't drop for us in the 1st 20mins, could have scored and that would not have been a surprise. Fair play for their first goal and of course a lucky deflection fell kindly for the second, you knew it was one of those nights.

Or our striker had no intention of attacking the ball, off Doku's crosses in first 20 mins
