The loss of Guardiol has been huge this season. The derby was a shocker but we were missing nearly all of our first choice defence.

We lost because Pep is a regulal bottler in the CL, that's all.Basically we lost because we made four schoolboy defensive errors three of which which were punished by Real Madrid. At the other end of the pitch we failed to capitalise on some good openings and were denied by one very good reflex save. Otherwise the game was fairly balanced.
These type of games we need a prime foden.
Don't see the point of keeping him if he cant contribute.
Yes we would be called the nutty boysSo long as it’s not another embarrassment
An even game? Jesus Christ.I’m not reading the thread because it will be filled with knee jerk bollocks but I thought overall it was a fairly even game. Their finishing was better and they got all the bounces. I think if Nico would have scored one of those two we’d have a real chance of going through. As it is it will take a monumental result but I haven’t given up.
This season is the same as last season. No difference and the outcome will be the same.
So many potential future football coaches on here tonight
Barely a dozen worthwhile posts on this thread 33 pages in
If many think they’ve just watched our worst ever CL performance, then they need a serious talking to
All so quick to pile on the bandwagon telling everyone what’s wrong
Some of the dogs abuse on here is just pathetic
If you can’t take it , fuck off to Stretford
Really? we need to score 4 and them not score at all, not a fucking chance.I'm with Joe Hart, we're still in this.
The Swamp away this season?Never felt so let down by a performance such as that for a long time.
Wank with a capital W.
Well that wasn't really the question. Haaland gets no service from midfield in open play. We can talk all day about how he's got three guys trying to tackle him on corners. No doubt about that. But he gets no love from anyone from the middle or wings. So he just stays static, gets angry, gets mopey and then pretty much disappears. Its not him, its our style of play. The number of balls, that go across the 6 yard area and he's nowhere to be seen
Did you really think that team tonight wasn't picked to hurt madrid tonight, he picked it to batter them, and had we had a player in the right place in the first 15 minutes, we might well have battered them, we put in three great balls across an empty six yard box before they scored, then fell apart when they did. I'd argue the Dias touch for the second goal won the game, if he hadn't deflected it, we were still in the game.We have some really good players at the moment, but Pep overthinks about his opponents and wants to stop them instead of hurting them and playing to his strength.
3-0 or 4-1 then win on pensReally? we need to score 4 and them not score at all, not a fucking chance.
