It's a slight improvement. We're already in a final and have made a better fist of the premier league. This is our transitional season with too many comings and goings to expect perfection. Many of the outgoings were world class too. The jury is out on whether their replacements can fill the void, time will tell.
 
We need to sell Haaland. absolute waste of space. People say we won the treble with him. Bollocks. We had prime Kevin, prime Bernie, prime Stones, prime Gundo, prime Eddie, prime Dias, and prime Rodri, no wonder we won it all. Even prime Grealish.
We are obviously not that team any more and Haaland adds nothing. He is in cricketing terms a flat track bully.

We lost because Pep did not pick the correct team for the occasion & did not set up the players he picked to do the job required of them. In other words we made it easy for Madrid

Well that wasn't really the question. Haaland gets no service from midfield in open play. We can talk all day about how he's got three guys trying to tackle him on corners. No doubt about that. But he gets no love from anyone from the middle or wings. So he just stays static, gets angry, gets mopey and then pretty much disappears. Its not him, its our style of play.

Did you really think that team tonight wasn't picked to hurt madrid tonight, he picked it to batter them, and had we had a player in the right place in the first 15 minutes, we might well have battered them, we put in three great balls across an empty six yard box before they scored, then fell apart when they did. I'd argue the Dias touch for the second goal won the game, if he hadn't deflected it, we were still in the game.
 
Khaldoon and Pep have gotten so much right in the past, it seems wrong to criticise.

So what can we do? Nothing but moan and support the team. Which we will.

All I am saying is that we are at the point where I want to see progression again. Not excuses and poor performances from the coach to the players.

Why should we accept shit? Because we used to be shit? Well we used to be good aswell. I will accept that top level again. The club worked so hard to reach the top. Now we have won everything and the only way now is down. It doesn't have to be this way. A steady top level is achievable.
