I'd say they were perfect for a winger on the opposite flank to dart in unnoticed and finish at the far post.
Sterling pretty much built his entire City career on being able to do it on a regular basis.

It's not all Haaland's fault.

Yes, he was caught out by a great ball, I never mentioned Marmoush, Guehi was awful defensively tonight.

As I said when moved forward after Ait Nouri came on, he was probably the best player, 100% better than Reijjnders (and Haaland) in the second half.

Some of the posts say more about the individual than the game tonight. I’m unsure which are real or fake, do Rags, bots, and soft arses only come out and complain on the after-match, forgetting to post and sleeping when we win?

We got beat in an away tie against one of the best teams in Europe, especially the CL. Our tactics weren't that of an away team and could be considered arrogant. We were rightly beaten by 3 decent strikes on goal.

Can we turn it around at ours? Yes, we could. Is it likely? No, it isn’t.

But I’ll still be watching ;-)

I think he probably was tbf, if you remember he played at LB at the group stage in Madrid and was poor, so why on earth pep hung him out to dry I don’t know.

He’s too flat footed and slow to be playing LB in the business end of the CL.

Oh and yeah, all of the rest you cite, they were stinking as well.

few times Real did attack and commit few players forward we got the ball quickly played it the counterpress Bernardo was sprinting with the ball once got to halfway line he slowed down, waited for others, let all Real players trakc back take up their more compact position and then we started our usual slower sideaways build up routine that ended in Semenyo simply giving away posession.


why in the hell Bernardo not trying to make a forward pass when he had Doku, Semenyo, Haaland, Savinho all front of him vs somewhat disorganized Real team to try to counter them especially 3-0 down? why turn back, slow down, let them regain their off the ball formation and try to play through a harder /larger defence when even their front three is on their own half.

I'm sorry but Pep needs to go, he completely lost the plot.
Not to mention the fact this Madrid side is worse than the one we beat on this same ground 3 months ago because they have more injuries, more yellow cards, worse form and a worse manager. Unacceptable!!!
Haaland might need to get sold too because he's literally doing nothing since the New Year and has only been a burden. We are more fluid without him. And if I see Cherki, our only creative midfielder getting benched one more game, I'll stop watching this team until the season ends.
