Should have been a greater score line, but one of our biggest issues in the past - lack of away goals - shouldn't be an issue going into the next tie. Massive that Ramos is out for the next leg.

This could really define our season. Go on and smash Villa on the weekend, first bit of silverware of the season, go into the next tie full of confidence, completely smash these bastards on our own turf and put a huge middle finger up to UEFA by knocking out their poster child club out of their competition.

A lot of negativity was creeping into this club before the ban, but i'd argue this has galvanised everyone associated with this team. The lads can still deliver a historic season for us and put a dampener on Liverpool's big celebration.
