I have a feeling we might just do them convincingly. They are at home and will be agressive in pressing us, but if we play around that - and we can play around any press on our day - then we could batter them.

If we're not at our best, it could get really scrappy, but I'd still fancy us to get some goals.

I think Sterling will definitely start for pace, Bernardo on the RW for midfield control. Aguero up front, Rodri-KDB-Silva midfield 3.

We may also not be good enough which has been the case every year we have been in the competition. The competition
may have question marks and perhaps corruption who knows but going by the way we have played this season there is no reason to
believe we are near being the best team in Europe at the moment. I personally believe we can edge this tie even if decisions go against us
as Madrid are not particularly good at the moment either.
I have watched some of their games and seen c lips of var decisions they get, don't get your hopes up,add to that UEFA won't want us getting past a cartel club,in terms of performance,we are not defensive sound enough now

Madrid are 9/5 to win.

Popped £25 on them which qualifies me for a free £25 in play bet with Bet365.. Which will immediately go on Madrid at kick off.

Hopefully it's £25 well spunked as we turn these ****s over.

(watch it be a draw now- which i'd still take)

Would be typical Pep to start with Sane tonight, it would be a major gamble but you never know with him.

With mahrez form....i had accept him to start....but its pep...hope he doesn't overthink it

Just having lunch in between sessions in the Museo Reina Sofia. Nice collection of anti-fascist stuff from the civil war... no pasaran (make that the game plan this evening!)

Them losing to Levante at the weekend plus Hazard being out has me feeling more optimistic. I think we'll get a score draw or even come out of there with a 2-1 win. Leaving work early so I can watch it in a pub somewhere.

As for the bookings to watch out for, I believe Fernandinho was suspended for the last match of the group stage but I could be wrong. I believe only Mendy and Foden are at risk of missing the second leg for picking up a yellow. Rodri, Cancelo, De Bruyne, Otamendi, and Bernardo all have one yellow so far in the competition.
