Thought that yesterday myself, drop Nico into the back 4 Fern and Rodri would protect them and turn defence into attack quicker
 
Will be hard for Pep to know how Zidane will line up. He's a bald fraud who rotates as unpredictably as Pep. Rodrygo is very good and has been left out of the squad 4 la liga games in a row and he's not even injured, he made some minutes against Sociedad in the spanish cup

Carvajal Varane Ramos F. Mendy
Valverde Casemiro Kroos
Isco Benzema Vincius

With Hazard and Bale out and Rodrygo out of favour we should really win on wednesday.

KDB Rodri Bernardo
Mahrez Aguero Jesus

Zidane's team is pretty much set in stone, he's only been changing because of injuries. I'm not sure what Madrid you've been watching.

It will be Courtois, Marcelo, Ramos, Varane, Carvajal, Casemiro, Valverde, Modric, Benzema, Bale and Vinicius.

8 of the 11 are guaranteed, the only questionable ones are if he goes with Mendy over Marcelo but I doubt it, and if he tries to shoe-horn Kroos in but again, in a big game like this he will want Valverde.

Bale got the flu so he will definitely not play the first leg. Last time Vinicius started a league game it was not even Christmas yet. What makes you think both of them are "guaranteed"? I genuinly want to know

Madrid supporters are a bit annoyed at Zidane because as soon as attackers pick up momentum they get benched. Happened to Vinicius, Isco, Jovic and Rodrygo. The defenders and midfielders are pretty much set. But the front three is almost impossible to guess apart from Benzema. And you're forgetting that Zidane usually goes with a midfield diamond in the CL knockouts. You can't pretend to know everything about today's Real Madrid if you've seemingly missed the last month or two of them mate..

I think they’ll struggle with his pace. If you remember when he wasn’t on top form in his first season, he still played pretty well in the Champions League games. Real play a high line as well.

Bale has a stomach bug 5 days ago and was only a doubt for the Levante game, so that's why I think he'll start and Vinicius has only been benched because of Hazard coming back, and he's the first guy Zidane has turned to when taking Hazard off. Also he started the Copa 1/4 final 2 weeks ago.

The only other option is Isco, who Zidane has used vs. really deep defences, and we are most definitely not that.

Also pretty impossible for him to play the midfield diamond from 2,3 and 4 years ago when the whole formation revolved around a Ronaldo-Benzema front 2.

Those are things someone who pretends to know everything about Madrid should know.
