I think Kroos is the weakness. Against a minor side he can hold down that 6 position. Against a top side I think he's going to struggle with the defensive side of the job. I think Kev is going to get a bit of freedom to find Haaland tonight.

Grealish has to get at Carvajal as well, he's been poor this season.

Agree with all of that.

Carvajal is there to be got at. Likes to bomb forward but I’m not worried because Jack tracks back. Would be good to get him booked early if possible.
 
Whatever happens we need to give ourselves a chance in the return leg. If they score first we can’t let the game get away from us like Bayern did. The plus side is Real will probably be just as afraid we can do the same to them.

For that reason I expect it’ll be tight and maybe even a bit scrappy early doors.

I think if it looks like being a draw we’ll accept that and take our chances in the second leg much like we did v Leipzig.
