Still dont understand why people hate and disrespect mahrez. He has been the most important player in CL the last two seasons, and this season he is the best goalscorer only surpassed by Haaland, and the player with most assists only surpassed by KDB. And he has way less minutes by Grealish and Bernardo. You said he didnt play against bayern because of davids and only Bernardo could stop him. Now what is the excuse?

It is a strange situation where we go into a game like this and whilst Haaland and De Bruyne are in everyone's 11s three of our top 4 scorers in all comps - Mahrez, Foden and Alvarez probably wouldn't be. Simply because we still look to nullify the opposition first. And to clarify, I'd have Bernie starting over Mahrez too!
