Real Madrid Away

I've got 19800 points so it better had lol.

Do you not find these European away games, especially at the bigger grounds are probably 40% casual support that aren't from anywhere near MCR?

Time off work, time away from family and cost for your general season ticket holder puts many off. Regardless of whether it's a semi final.

Everton away will be far harder to get a ticket for.
Went a lot lower than that the last couple of time we’ve played there as far as I remember. And we had the same smaller allocation last season too. Assuming you’re on the scheme.

If i manage to get a spare i might have to just chance it and forge my name. hopefully i can get through. willing to take the risk

We sold just short of 4000 tickets for the Bayern match and it sold out at 15000 points.
If you think this is going below 20000 points with the allocation that the club have been given, you are going to be in for a shock.
The criteria will start at 27000 points and I will be amazed if on the first published criteria they go below 23000 points.
Your only hope is that names on the tickets and id checks put some people off.
But I wouldn't be booking hotels and travel on your points if I wanted to see the match live.
OK fella.

Couldn’t resist

Anyone know if the tickets will need to be collected in Madrid, like they were last year?

Tickets last year were collection in Manchester or some opted to change to Madrid.

Went to zero points just about on the CS after dropping from 6k to 0. There were only a couple of hundred tickets left after the high point windows but little take up further down the line. That was just after Atletico, and lower demand last season, will probably be a lot higher this year and people will forget how bad it is there.

I don't get this "how bad it is there" mentality. Yeah the robocops in and around the stadium can be heavy handed, but they let us party with no issues in Plaza Mayor and the locals are sound. Great City, great culture and great bars.

Can't wait to get over there me.

Yeah I’ve never had any problems in the city itself. Had a couple of great trips. Although we tend to avoid the main meeting areas.

But the actual ‘match experience’ for want of a better phrase is definitely more endurance than enjoyment.

If you only go there once, you remember how bad it is. The police compete only with Barcelona in terms of treatment

It's getting really hot....about 38 celsius forecast for the weekend. I hope the doctors advise either getting to Madrid straight after the Leeds game for warm weather training or getting in and out quickly....whichever suits the squad best.
