I think that’s what has pissed off Madrid. They sign players by telling them you need to come to us if you want the Ballon D’Or.
Looking beyond how fucking pathetic it is and it is, it's embarrassing for world class players and club to behave that way, it starts to get really interesting now.
Most fans couldn't care less about individual awards, although I admit it's nice when your players are acknowledged, however the players really care.
They now have 3 players in their starting XI desperate to win it, 2 that I believe are good enough, who takes the penalties? The free kicks? Who passes on a 2 v 1? Can see it getting really ugly now, hope there's civil war in the dressing room.

What a club, lost all respect for them after this stunt.
Hopefully their some times lucky run will now end in this competition.
A humble player won v an egomaniac corrupt organisation.
Over the last 2/3 seasons Rodri has been phenomenal. Won the league, champions league, treble, 4 in a row, euros.
His dominance in a blue shirt is evident each week. Its refreshing to see a player of his kind acknowledged.
Madrid tho are showing football raggery here and it ain’t a good look.
