Josko, terrific performance, same for Bernardo.

Johnny Stones and Manny Akanji very good.

Rodri, Haaland, and Foden all a bit under par tonight. Bad news for Real in second leg!

Good all round team performance 7.5 for everyone. Could have gone for Gvardiol or Phil for fantastic finishes. Rodri for being Rodri or Bernie or Jack for the control, Akanji, Dias or Johnny Boulders for composed defending.
Really unlucky with two fucking scabby deflections.
Would have taken the draw beforehand so I'm good with that.

Me too. He was good defensively, our best defender, available in midfield and scored a screamer. He has a few good games on the trot now.

Gone for Gvardiol for keeping the right quiet, and for the wonder strike which I think has been coning!

I thought we were miles better in the second half. But Madrid scored two deflections and a Worldy. Hopefully we have these for toast in the 2nd leg.

Anyone else turn the commentary off after about 15 minutes with them saying they want revenge and want City to suffer.

Jack's decision making tonight was superb, did the right thing every single time. First time pass, keep hold of it, defensively sound, complete pep performance

Not that the commentators give him any real fanfare, John Stones was EVERYWHERE in that second half, his bravery in providing that option in midfield was key to us dominating most of that half.

Josko and Jack excellent, Kovacic role was really key too.

I thought we were largely awful, yes it's not an easy place to play at, and I should be happy with the result, but we can't go there and play with 7 or 8 players.

If they had been able to shoot we'd have been 4 or 5-1 down before Foden scored.

For me between Akanji and Gvardiol, I thought Akanji was consistent all game.

A few very poor performances from City for me.
