Tough call as it was a superb attacking performance (even with the usual wasted chances). Jesus just edges it for me.

With a heavy heart I didn’t vote for John Boy. I voted for Bernardo Silva

I wanted to vote for JB but he was struggling with that injury I reckon. Maybe too early for his return but hey ho he lives to fight another day. :-)

EDIT: Having just watched Bernie’s interview after the match I’m quadruply (I know there’s probably no such word) glad I voted for him. In fact it is one time I wish I had a few user names so I could vote more times. That man is so articulate and seems to understand the begrudging media. Well done Bernie.

Not quite decided. Kevin drives us on and will drag us to the final, benzema was the same for them but has less class around him.

Bernie is just a Duracell Bunny and, even if he does want to bugger off back to Spain or Portugal, already a city legend. Give me a statue of him, coffee cup in hand, facing west to dipperland, and I'll salute it every home game.

Zinchenko, what a guy. If he scored I'd hope the entire ground, home and away and, would jump up and chant Ukraine.

Jesus, wow, hitting form just at the right time. He has more to his game that he shows our false nine formation, and the fact that international level defenders can't keep up with him is telling. Tell Arteta he price just went up another ten mil.

Rodri, left a bit exposed tonight but stood up and was counted.

I am confident. We can do the Bernebau. Kev is far too much a threat for them to go gung ho.

Now over to Villarreal, Emery you carry the hopes of a nation tomorrow. Famous European nights my arse, castrate the spitty, high pitched, Teflon loving, ship canal hating, gobshites.

KDB, Jesus & Zinchenko have all been excellent recently & continued the good work here. Foden was excellent - you could see how much it meant to him as a City fan. Bernardo gets an honourable mention.
Agree with all except Foden.
Thought he was good in the first half but huffed and puffed in the second half with very little coming off for him. Gave it away cheaply coming out of defence quite a few times.
Mind you, he did score, so can’t be too critical.
