Well I got my pre match prediction incorrect at 4 - 2 but will settle for City 4 Madrid 0

Tonight was a master class of a performance. We well and truly battered them in every department.

To beat Madrid is an achievement but to beat them as we did, doesn’t get much better.

I said last week in my after Match analysis 1-1 was a decent result for us without playing particularly well.

That we could play much better than we did on the night.That i thought we had another level in us and Madrid didn't.

How right i was,we battered them in that first half.Their keeper is the only reason it stayed at 4-0.it could have been 6.

So proud of the Boys tonight we play with a breath taking arrogance in our play,not our behavior. and it is a sight to behold. Opposition teams have no idea how to pick players up.

It is going to cost me a Kidney to get to Istanbul.Going to look at package deals i think.

I never felt in the defeat to Chelsea Final season,no idea why that was.I just never felt it.This time i feel like it is our destiny.

He was always great one-on-one, but he used to have the odd rush of blood to the head. Nowadays, he still has everything, the pace, the strength, the reading of the game, but he never seems to dive in or fuck up. He's incredible. I honestly think if he hadn't got injured last season, we would have gone through then too.

From the beginning our passing was crisp and sharp. Our players were finding space and on the front foot from the off. It was precise, inventive and positive. You couldn't even say Madrid were playing poorly as there is no team on the planet that could live with that first half.
