I can't shake the feeling we might smash them.

If we get the first goal, they're going to have to adopt a suicidally attacking set-up and Sterling, Foden, Jesus, KDB on the counter-attack will be a massacre.

Ramos is such a big loss for them as well.

Is Ramos 100% out?
 
Not sure why people think we'll smash them. They've just won la liga and are in good form. Yes their leader will be missing but still full of world class talent. Think it'll be a very nervy night with hopefully us seeing the tie through.

Because if any team starts at effectively 2-0 down, they have to play in a way that makes them a lot more vulnerable.
 
Hopefully Fernandinho next to Laporte and not Garcia.

Benzema is in top form, Garcia is simply not up to it, struggles 1v1.

Never understand people who underrate getting the first goal, it’s vital it gives you the impetus builds the required platform daft as it sounds to get a second which kills the tie. I’m pretty sure Francos Fascists are not going to just shrug their shoulders and say it makes no difference if we come out score and show our intentions the minute we score means they have to think harder about defending

Surely it’s hugely better for us to score first? As an example if we score 1 they have to score 2 to draw, 3 to win. Plus if we score 1 we are half way towards scoring 2. The more we score and the less they score, the better
