Just letting you all know that it WILL be Rodri and Gundogan together in midfield, so get yourself mentally prepared for it now. There is time to make peace with it.
Probably. I think it should be Bernado with one of them

Absolutely no fucking excuses here. It's probably our best chance to win it......apart from last season, now that was fucking gift wrapped for us.

I wouldn't say there were no excuses?

To recap, just beat Real Madrid, Juventus, one of Barca or Bayern, and then Atletico or PSG.

No team in recent times will have had it so difficult to lift the trophy, whether that be us or anyone else on our side of the draw.

I'd actually be more comfortable if they were all two legs as anything can happen in a one-off game.

I fear we will come up just short in the semi-finals.

We're in the driving seat against Madrid, so no excuse there.

Then it's one off games. I'd back us against anyone in a one off. The two leg games are a fucking nightmare.

Can't really say that about Madrid, we hold a slender advantage but they have had their feet up for a couple weeks now and even when shit, know how to get a result in this competition.

I'd agree usually about one-off games but I thought that last week against Arsenal when we all thought we were prioritising the Cup and the Champs League.

All to play for.

I have no fear of Juventuss. The Semis will be something. Can't say who I'd prefer.

I think Gundogan will start with Rodri (replacing either David or Phil), toss up between defence first half today, and defence second half today, tough knowing Pep's selections, he's probably working on a Stones/Otamendi partnership as we speak.

Yes gents, @alexmcity - I can also see that Gundo choice happening, in terms of maintaining control in a game in which we already hold an advantage with a ‘safe pair of hands’.

We are at our best when we do everything at a high tempo, we need to go at them early doors in this one.

Hope the team selection mirrors that.

---------------------Ederson
Walker---Dinho---Laporte---Cancelo
------------------------Rodri
------De Bruyne--------------Foden
Mahrez-----------Sterling-----------Jesus

Going with experience with Fern over Garcia. Sterling and Jesus having the ability to swap. He might go with D.Silva over Foden but I think the team above is probably our best.
