Their midfield isn't a beast defensively wise, especially with Valverde being moved to RB. They are great going forward. The front 3 plus Bellingham is fantastic. But defensively they ain't great. Plus, they had a difficult game on Saturday and traveled, so they won't be in their best condition in the 2nd half.

If we don't have a bad night like last year at the Etihad, we can create many chances playing our own game. Hopefully Haaland's on fire tonight.
Hope you smash them - I can't stand Real Madrid. I think you'll need a 2 goal lead to take to the Bernebeu.

Does anyone have a list of channels it might be one my mate's iptv thing.ta or send a message please.

It'd difficult to see how Real's pace won't cause City real problems. Mbappé, Vinícius and Rodrygo are exactly the type of player that City struggle against in transition.

But at the same time, City should be looking to expose their defense. This could be a high scoring game.

That is the game right there, They have some big guns but their ship can leak, pretty much like ours

I never can under Pep's system and the full-backs or the inverted full-back roles, Right now we do not have any to call solid full-backs, When you look at what we have won without a left-back it is a puzzle and should not work because it is missing a final piece, But we still win silverware and titles and do very well in Europe,

This season and before the transfer window I would've said we have not got a chance in hell against them over 2 legs
But now with the 3 new signings and getting some players back from injuries City can beat anybody home and away

Phil Foden will be the Key tonight and if he's flying and in the mood, Madrid will be in trouble, They hate people running at their defence from the midfield, Also they are missing some big-name defenders at the moment.

I am standing by what I said earlier, we will win both legs and in the return leg we will be much better than tonight

And? You’ve said the same thing twice. We’ve got close to a full strength side available tonight. I’m not expecting a goalless draw, let the Spanish cunts worry about us tonight
I think its going to be a mad game.. 4:4 or 3:3 ..that won't be enough but it will be a great game i think

When do you think you were last optimistic Paul? I’m that optimistic (some might say deluded) that I booked for the away game yesterday. A lot of players back tonight, some of you pessimistic people might even enjoy it. At least I know I will spend some if not all of the evening being optimistic. Like we used to be when we were shit

As pointed out in my original post I was optimistic the time we beat them 4-0 and last season when we went out to them.
This season I've not been optimistic since the Rodri injury and we've since lost to the worst rag side since 1974, thrown away a 3-0 lead against Feyenoord, a 2-0 lead against PSG and collapsed against Arsenal.

When we were shit we expected to lose almost every game. It wasn't optimism we had it was City, we supported them so we turned up, did just that and hoped for the best.

You do how you support City and I'll do it my way. I've pointed this out to you before but you're deaf of hearing. I gave an honest assesment of how I think we'll fare over two legs against Madrid. It has nothing to do with optimism or pessimism but based on our form this season. As always I hope I'm wrong and we go through, keep key players fit and win the champions league and fa cup. No I'm not optimistic that will happen but I hope it does.

I think you'll need a 2 goal lead to take to the Bernebeu.
That's what many think, but I don't agree. Our results at Bernabeu since 2020: 2:1 City, 2:1 Madrid (they scored two goals in added time, 3:1 after ET), 1:1, and 3:3.

Given their injury problems in defence, if they try to swarm us we will counter them. We have quick players like Haaland, Savinho, Doku and Marmoush. Give them space to run into and they can score 2-3 goals. The tie won't be decided today, unless City win by 4 goals or Madrid by 2 goals.

I think we’ll lose by a couple of goals at the Bernabeu so it’s important we capitalise tonight especially in the absence of Rudiger.
Is the Cheat Rudiger definitely out? MUEN saying he is 'doubtful' Anyone know if he has travelled. Gives Haaland a chance if he isn't being pinched; held'; rugby tackled by the oaf
