I expect Pep to go with the same side but I would have Foden up against Camavinga. His pace means he's better able to disrupt those surging runs into midfield and can pin him back more effectively. I also thought Bernardo had one of his quietest ever games for us last week.

What a glorious time to be a City fan.

Real did a stopping job on us last time, and it'll only be worse this time, if you look at the personel.

But.... imagine if we really turn up.

Think positive. Think how we want it to be. How it's been so often this season.

Now tell the team how that feels. Show them how to get there.

I won't utter a single word in criticism tommorow, no matter what happens - because this team have done what they have to, and then some. They fascinate me. I trust, and respect them.

When I think of the future, I automatically believe that these players and coaches will all continue to adapt and grow - to show the best side of sport.

Sometimes numbers do not say whole truth until you add even more numbers :)

He lost with Barcelona the CL semis against Inter and Chelsea when park the bus strategy was adopted and Barca completely dominated the games but couldn't score. Against Inter, Barcelona had 42 total attempts(YES 42!) in the home game but....
Same with Atletico Madrid where Bayern had 34 attempts with 12 on target at home(versus 7 total of Atletico), only to win 2-1(xG goals calculated at 4.12-0.25 if I recall). They dominated away game also only to lose 1-0 and eliminated on away goals.

Against Real Madrid Ronaldo scored twice from an offside position, Bayern did not get a cleal penalty and a red card was gifted to Real Madrid. UEFA gifted that semi final series to Real Madrid.

Against Barcelona, Bayern I recall had many injuries and Messi was on top form so unstoppable.

Last year against Real Madrid, City dominated both games, especially the home game where score should have been 6-3 easily. But..... And 2nd game at Madrid, Real M. was not dangerous at all and City controlled the game but those damn 5 minutes....

This is partly the reason why I think we've moved more to become a more physically dominant side this season. Games at this stage will always have a section that is toe to toe attacks and it creates chaos and randomness, that should help us in those moments.

Not nervous.
I don‘t believe in luck. That said City have no luck in this cup.
I don't believe in fate but we have seem fated to fail in this haven’t we.
The bus should have turned around as it arrived at Anfield.
Last year….well...and the Chelsea game was…well if Kev hadn’t have been assaulted we would have turned it.
I look at our boys and I see the cast from 300.Ripped and ready. Those guys relied on neither luck nor fate.
We need neither tomorrow.
Tell you what It’s my 26th anniversary tonight. My Mrs has passed out after gIrving me a pass to book a flight before the game tomorrow and I shall be.

We played with a lot in reserve first leg, hopefully we unleash that. We’re capable of much more. Real are incredibly dangerous but then again so are we.
