Real Madrid post match thread

Edersons kick was just awful.

But then his decision to come and flap wasn't much better either.

Think we have a huge problem with Pep.
He has not adapted to our situation and its killing us. Every team seems to have 20 odd shots v us due to his and the clubs failings.
We have 2 clowns battling for the keepers position, bow many times has Ederson cost us in the CL ( always grateful v Inter) no full backs and defenders who struggle to play 45 minutes. God knows what our medical staff with state of the art facilities are doing.
We spend a lot of money on 2 unproven defenders, 1 of which was on the bench tonight.
We have wingers who cannot score and a midfield with no pace, no energy, no creativity and no defensive abilities.
We played a Madrid team missing their back 4 and we went slow with our expensive pacy new player left on the bench.
3-2 was flattering for us tonight, could have been a real thumping on another night.
180 million spent in Jan and he is still bringing on a championship level Lewis and past it Mr Whippy.
No chance of going through, most of us expected that but i have never seen a team fuck up to conceed goals as much of us.
I dont think he can fix it, his style is now becoming outdated where teams are all about press, pace, energy and we just do not have it yet he is setting up every game as if we have it
To be fair Edison had a good game today - 4 excellent saves to keep the score down.

Lewis ain't no RB, for sure.

Why not make the decision to meet the ball rather wait it to bounce?

As soon as I saw Lewis coming on, I thought 'fuck me!'!!
trouble is with Lewis you know that,i do and the rest of the forum do, has pep forgot about his past blunders

I actually feel sad for the lad but there is literally no one else at this point. He doesn’t have a long term future at city tho
Khusanov as a purely defensive right back/RCB when gvardiol moves forward would have been better value and is most likely where he will get minutes in the future

Never ever will City have a better manager than Guardiola. Never.

But this season....what happened to him? With every substitution he made, City got weaker and weaker. Again.

How long before results in the past are no longer enough to go on?

Was lucky to only lose 3-2 in reality! The amount of chances they blazed over the bar was ridiculous! Still only half time but fuck me its gonna be a long 90/120 mins in Madrid

It was Lewis ball that led to Foden being brought down for Penalty but nah forget that and let’s slaughter a young player played out of position.
What is his position?

He’s not good enough in any position to be playing for us. He tries really hard and will deservedly have a good career in the game. But it shouldn’t be with us.

Pathetic
Rinse and repeat
No right back (wasn’t working with Akanji either)
Players fucked 60-70 mins (Why was KDB still on?)
Players starting half fit
Half the team don’t end the game where they start the game
Only 1 player to get our goals
Schoolboy individual mistakes
No clean sheet whether it’s Orient or Real.
Too slow, not brave enough

Add to that, the last of our 4 or 5 long records smashed again this season.
And only we could spend 200M to give an output of 10 minutes
