real mallorca..la liga

i noticed this. i keep an eye out now, i have a mallorca top wit magaluf 09 on the back which me n the lads got........man that was a good week.
 
La Liga throws up a random team now and again just like the prem, Real Sociedad finished 2nd bout 5-6 years ago and just escaped relegation the next year.
 
there playing top football aswell,i hope they do qualify for the champions league.
 
My favourite team in La Liga for a few years now after I randomly played with them on Fifa.

Fair play, doing very well at the minute. Very good to see.
 
Went to the San Moix a few years ago while on a lads' holiday in Palma Nova. It was a UEFA Cup game against Limassol from Cyprus. Not the strongest opposition but they battered them.
About 12 of us were in the Cuerva with the home nutters and at first we were getting a bit of stick off them, but then we stood up and started singing City songs and got a round of applause off them. For some reason, they all had butties wrapped in tin foil with them and at half time they were sharing them out with us.
A top night and a top atmosphere. Well worth a visit.
Oh, and a certain Mallorca striker grabbed a hat-trick that night. A certain Samuel Eto'o. Remember us all saying what a good signing he would be for us . . .

Thought I may have known you then, until you said it was a Waffa Cup game. I too went whilst on holiday in Palma Nova, but it was a league game, the last of the season infact. Top though isn't it?! I remember us thinking how mad it was we were allowed San Miguel in the stadium, and how cheap it was too. Was only after us feeling just as sober after our 4th pint as when we started that we realised it was infact San Miguel 0,0!!! Bastards!
 
they got beat today though by tenerife.good result for tenerife aswell because they are going to be in a relgation battle this season i think.i hope mallorca get that fourth spot though.
