REALISM- final postion in league

All depends on tomorrow night. We've not strung a good few games together in the Prem since those opening five games and that was a very long fucking time ago. But if we can win at Anfield (it's about fucking time we did) then the confidence will come back, if we lose or even draw and the Leicester/Spurs win and I don't think we'll finish in the top 2.

I agree but to get to 5-6 games in with a shout I think in the next 6 games we need 15/18. So we can still lose at Anfield it just means we have to win the rest.

still all to play for..

the key games for all teams will be against the teams in fear of the drop.

can see leicester and spurs dropping plenty of points..

I'm in agreement with others on here - Wednesday could well be the key. Win that then we've got a decent little run where we could secure top 4 & even put some pressure on the guys above, lose it & then the United at home match becomes a big'un for making sure we get top 4.

Don't think we'll win the title, but if we get top 3, furthest we've ever got in CL & win the League Cup then it's been far from a bad year with the injuries we've had.

Personally see us ending 3rd.

Last two games, yesterday in particular, will have an effect on the players that results in us going on a run and winning this league. I'm 100% certain of it.

Wouldnt be surprised if we go 11 or 12 points behind Leicester on Wednesday , and we are still capable of winning the title , Leicester and Spuds will bottle it , they will pick up a couple of injuries , (Kante has picked up a hamstring injury for Leicester) and the Goons have less spine than a jelly fish , with our players returning from injury and KDB back for the last few games , we are capable of winning ten on the trot .Got a scouser offering to print the "MCFC Champions 2016" t-shirt , i politely declined , who would be deluded enough to do that in March.

Along with our Captain we seem to have got out mojo back. We can hopefully put a run together and who knows what can happen? I suspect teams are going to start sitting back against Leicester and make them come on, something they've not been used to so far. At the moment Leicester and Spuds are playing pretty much without pressure on them. If we can put a run together the pressure may start to effect them, hopefully. It's not over just yet anyway

With Pep on the way and several big signings predicted it is imperative that we finish in the top three. With us chasing three teams I cannot see us winning the title this year. Every match should now be treated as a cup final although we must improve on our goal scoring exploits.
