My understanding is if the above figures are correct, we will still have a foreign spot available for prem league but not for CL. If of course one of these players is someone like Carson we have got round that before by replacing with EDS/Academy keeper. (I think) :-)
I've not seen a list of the players you're talking about but everyone has to include 2 'A' list goalies. If we dropped Carson for instance we would have to promote one of the kids from the 'B' list to replace him.

From players who actually play, what I can see we have:
Homegrown: Ake Walker Stones Sterling= 4
Club Trained: Foden
So:
Ederson, Aforeignkeeper, Laporte, Mendy, Cancelo, Gundogan, Rodrigo, DeBruyne, Bernardo Fernandinho, Torres*, Jesus, Aguero, Mahrez= 14
Then:
Zinchenko Otamendi= 16 overseas total.
Torres is U21 for PL regs, so that makes it 15 overseas players for PL purposes.
Then we have Carson (no problem re PL)
And Garcia (fuck him so irrelevant)
So in total: PL 15 overseas inc Zinch Otamendi.
Plus 5 homegrown & Carson.
So room for 2 more overseas, 4 if Zinch & Otta go.
Space for Couto as U21.
Cl 16 overseas including Torres, Zinchenko Otamendi. Including Carson = 17.
Leave out Zinchenko & Otamendi & room for 2 more overseas. Leave out Carson for 3rd Academy keeper= room for 3 more overseas.

We are however, as it stands at full capacity in CL (unless carson misses out). I wouldn't assume we are setting up a team that would only be able to play in the PL, and bring players in that would miss out on CL, or cause current players to miss out on CL. Also any youth keeper bumpednonto B list would have to have been with us a minimum of 2 seasons, which im not sure any have been. I think it is naive to assume that we would just omit players from CL.
Till someone leaves, no free spaces. In CL, therefore not at all.
Carson isn't actually here to play, if we need his spot he doesn't get in. Aside that Otamendi is clearly gone if Koulibaly arrives, Zinchenko could likely be sold easily if required, and if really in a pinch I suspect Fernandinho's role this year might be more player-coach than player.You are not missing anyone.
