There are some seriously shameful posters that can rant behind a keyboard, that would switch and become sobbing blobs at the the thought of their parent having cancer, never mind anonymous faces jeering said parents from web space.

I've never been so disgusted at how this board has ran unchecked.

I'm quite ashamed to be affiliated with City fans right now.

This is truly an emotive subject and will in turn have emotive rantings one way or another. When this story hit the press I heard about someone being ravaged with cancer and then dying within days. I have another friend in hospital being tested for cancer as I type. So, when I hear about people like Dr O exaggerating her condition for her son's financial gain or revenge makes me sick on hearing. There you go, I'm a knobhead for thinking this way... And I'm NOT ashamed to say it.

p.s. I rant in public too...

Ravaged means - to bring heavy destruction on; to devastate; to destroy... Don't get me started with semantics but, the word ravaged is used for terminal cancer. I've not met anyone yet who has recovered from imminent destruction from cancer. Hence the exaggeration made by Dr O!

I personally found the most laughable part of this whole debacle the quote that when she received the email she was more upset than when she was diagnosed, i mean REALLY was that the case

Funny, I feel the same way. It's nowt to do with Ned's mum or Neds. They are just pawns in the game! I'm pretty sure Dr Onouha pretty much thought this was ignored or dealt with. So, this is something else.

And here's yet ANOTHER salient point to have escaped you AND the other torch carrying, pitchfork waving mob... Why didn't Neds speak out about the e-mail a year ago?? He would have angry and pretty much not in any plans. Why 'let' his mother release this e-mail when he's in the 25 man squad with 'little chance of playing'? Why now?? What would be the point?? There's nothing in the rule book, that I can think of, to suggest we MUST have 25 men in the squad. We just cannot go past that.

And, if you really wanted to be political over it, include Bridge in that squad and not play him in the same way as Mancini is proposed to do with Ned. That would leave him in Bridge's position, wouldn't it?
