i think you will find Mrs Onouha was unable to attend a meeting, with Cook n co regarding Neds contract/move to Sunderland due to her illness, the next thing you know is the e-mail makes an appearance, you can hardly blame her for being ill and not being healthy enough to attend the meeting can you?

Another missing the point, being ill and missing an apointment is one thing but to exaggerate a condition to leverage is another.

some people need to remember, when referring to Mrs Onouha that this lady has a serious illness,i know for a fact that she has read this website and some of the comments aimed at her are unbelievable!

Precisely why I reported a poster, for the first time in my life, for the language used against her.

There are some seriously shameful posters that can rant behind a keyboard, that would switch and become sobbing blobs at the the thought of their parent having cancer, never mind anonymous faces jeering said parents from web space.

I've never been so disgusted at how this board has ran unchecked.

I'm quite ashamed to be affiliated with City fans right now.

Not one of you ranting at Dr Onouha have the RIGHT to think yourselves better than the Scum up the road!! You're exactly the same as those kn*b heads. Hang your collective heads in shame.

I, truly, thought we were better than this.

This is truly an emotive subject and will in turn have emotive rantings one way or another. When this story hit the press I heard about someone being ravaged with cancer and then dying within days. I have another friend in hospital being tested for cancer as I type. So, when I hear about people like Dr O exaggerating her condition for her son's financial gain or revenge makes me sick on hearing. There you go, I'm a knobhead for thinking this way... And I'm NOT ashamed to say it.

p.s. I rant in public too...

If I ever see Dr O, I will not shy away behind a keyboard, I'm not a keybaord warrior - I would say exactly the same to her face as well as show her the pictures of genuine people who were 'ravaged' with cancer and died this year...

I's even go as far as to say Garry saw through her lies... but , Mrs O had the willing sun to twist the knife in on her behalf.

How pathetic a notion to suggest Dr Onouha has been lying about her condition!! Are you suggesting that a body cannot survive a ravaging of cancer?? We have our own brilliant poster who has suffered and survived a 'ravaging' a few times!! But, you should know that if you were part of Bluemoon any more than a minute.

I'm not standing on the shoulders of the people you know suffering, but what I will say is that cancer affects people in different ways and to blanket the way people react to cancer is just plain stupid.

Sorry.

Sorry.

Ravaged means - to bring heavy destruction on; to devastate; to destroy... Don't get me started with semantics but, the word ravaged is used for terminal cancer. I've not met anyone yet who has recovered from imminent destruction from cancer. Hence the exaggeration made by Dr O!

how do you know this to be the case, what exactly do you know about the cancer she has? at 1st i thought along the lines you are thinking but after speaking to someone today and getting the other side of the story i think Cook has behaved in a terrible way, hope he is man enough to go to see Mrs Onouha in person to say sorry for the upset he has caused. Its too easy to say Onouha's a greedy ****,she's milking it with her not so bad cancer etc

This is the problem with forums. I doubt anyone on this forum has enough information or knowldege of the subject, yet a player who has represented the club for years and his family can be vilified in such a way is disgraceful. Sad day for this forum.

Apologise - don't make me laugh. I hope Garry never gives them the satisfaction.

I'm not getting into an arguement over Mrs. Onouha's illness or any shit like that. but on a serious note....................................................................................................................... NEDUM ONOUHA IS NOWHERE NEAR GOOD ENOUGH FOR A SQUAD THAT HAS AMBITIONS OF WINNING THE LEAGUE

mate you can think im a prick, i've just said i'm not being drawn into even commenting over the unfortunate situation that has occurred with his mother and cook, and whatevers happened. but i honestly dont believe he's anywhere near good enough for the level we're at. As a right back. he's worse than richards and zabaleta at least, and he'll never get a look in at centre half, ever. if you think that makes me a prick, fair enough mate

ok mate

I hope he never plays for us again.

He and his new found agent friend would not be missed.

(I wish his mother a full recovery).

At the end of the day Mrs ( i refuse to call her doctor) Onouha exploited the fact that she had / has cancer
I personally found the most laughable part of this whole debacle the quote that when she received the email she was more upset than when she was diagnosed, i mean REALLY was that the case
Onouha and his representatives have debased themselves and the club and frankly i hope he rots on loan in the championship which would be appropriate given the cost to the club of his pound of flesh

Funny, I feel the same way. It's nowt to do with Ned's mum or Neds. They are just pawns in the game! I'm pretty sure Dr Onouha pretty much thought this was ignored or dealt with. So, this is something else.

Why would you say the account was 'hacked in to' and not say 'this incident was 12 months ago!' and save us all a job?? I think Cook knew he was over a barrel from the time this incident happened and has thus stayed 'out of the spotlight'.

I wonder what tipped the Hand of Fate, then??

City refusing to subsidise nedum's wages at Everton is what tipped it.
His mother is quoted in the MUEN today as saying

Dr Onuoha told MEN Sport: “No-one can expect to humiliate me, or my son, and expect to get away with it.

Does that sound like a pawn to you? Sounds like somebody out for revenge to me.
Cook made a rather mild comment,to a colleague,NOT to her about his mother's
description of her illness. Which incidentally, she seems to have introduced into
negotiations herself. An act which I think is even more offensive.

As for Onuha himself. It would be naive to think he wasn't aware of this.He
has form for slating the club so this isn't out of character. Also,Kia's recent
assertion that he has never spoken to Onouha is at best a contradiction
of an interview he gave the BBC or an outright blatant lie.

I hope he never plays for us again.

I'm not so sure she mentioned 'cancer' in her e-mail, just the implication of it. But then, I can't find the quote of the e-mail itself. And there are many people disconbobulated by her response to the accidently received e-mail from Cook.

She says, for the layman, that that e-mail hurt more than finding out she HAD cancer as finding out was a relief in comparison to not knowing why she was racked pain for the seven weeks before discovering the identity of the illness.

I can understand what she meant, why can't you lot??

The email exchange was sparked by Dr Anthonia, who at the time represented her son, emailing City’s football administrator, Brian Marwood, to inform the former Arsenal midfielder that, while her body might be “ravaged with cancer and ongoing chemotherapy”, she remained able to act on her son’s behalf.

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/manchester-city/8743320/Manchester-City-chief-executive-Garry-Cook-facing-high-level-probe-over-email-allegations.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/footba ... tions.html</a>

Too many City "fans?" not actually checking their facts before commenting.
I also find it curious that you only query that and not the fact that she
introduced it into negotiations. It's easy to follow the mob,not so easy to see
through the bullshit,obviously.

Nothing to with the forum, people will be talking the same way in pubs, the street and the work place.

On the football side the lad isn't good enough, cook knew that and so does his mother.

Wow!! From you, Bill, this is quite shocking. To basically defend the vile comments towards Nedum's mother is... well, I truly have no appropriate words!

If this was a person on the forum laid upon to such attacks, you and the others wouldn't see it as 'pub/ street/ workplace banter'. In fact, you would issue warning about CoC all over the place faster than Usain Bolt!! But, this is okay??

As for your judgement on Neds, well with all due respect, I cannot think of a single player/ manager about whose assessment you've correct on, yet.

I already said I couldn't the article and wasn't sure. Perhaps you should learn to read and digest before TRYING to sound clever. It may help your cause, some. Regardless, her responding e=mail was a right of reply and Cook, no matter how good or bad he was, deservedly burned.

And here's yet ANOTHER salient point to have escaped you AND the other torch carrying, pitchfork waving mob... Why didn't Neds speak out about the e-mail a year ago?? He would have angry and pretty much not in any plans. Why 'let' his mother release this e-mail when he's in the 25 man squad with 'little chance of playing'? Why now?? What would be the point?? There's nothing in the rule book, that I can think of, to suggest we MUST have 25 men in the squad. We just cannot go past that.

And, if you really wanted to be political over it, include Bridge in that squad and not play him in the same way as Mancini is proposed to do with Ned. That would leave him in Bridge's position, wouldn't it?

Not reasoned with that logical move, yet, have we...?

You are all incredibly naive when whipped up in to the Frankenstein Mob that you are. You are chasing after a perceived Monster when you should looking at yourselves.

Bloody hell this thread kicked off big time. Maybe its time this thread was taken off the forum its not covering anyone in glory and quite frankly some of the stuff i have read on here is quite disturbing
