You can 'delay' the inevitable by using Finasteride or Dutasteride, Finasteride is a specific type II 5-alpha reductase inhibitor. It inhibits the enzyme responsible for regulating conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT). By reducing DHT levels in the scalp, the drug decreases DHT's effects on the hair follicles, reversing the process of hair loss.
Dutasteride inhibits both type I and type II, is more effective but with a price tag to match.
There's a few studies being done with Equol, a soy isoflavin, which seem promising, but nothing concrete yet.
The first two are the popular ones, with various studies to back them up, my advice though is to come to terms with it, it's a battle you won't win without having the huge funds it takes.
