Yeah, everything is done through them. We just get a referral fee if anyone buys anything.

Ok, sorry its a bit older than 20 yrs ago, but the joe corrigan book is excellent.

The way Swales treated Kazi Deyna, probably the best player in the 74 west germany finals is scandalous.

It made me sad to think my club could have taken advantage of his position. Great to know that Big Joe acknowledged his friendship with Deyna drinking vodka in the clubs in the late 70's.

Not totally a City book but Ian Cheeseman's "Best job in the world" is a good read as well. It's basically a year in the life of a radio interviewer and the different grounds he goes to and his support for City shines through. Doesn't just talk about the year he also discusses other years and how he became a supporter etc., Good read.

I have posted about this book before but Down Among The Dead Men by Mark Hodkinson is fantastic and actually makes me fill up at the end.
He spent the 98-99 season with the club, leading up to the play offs at Wembley - even more relevant when you look what is happening today, with Nasri and the future etc that you can really appreciate how lucky we are, and how close we came to not existing any more.
Great read.
(obviously all made up, as we have no history etc)
