The name's Rum, Len Rum.
Where's this economic recovery that Geoffrey keeps going on about?

GDP per capita still 6% below pre financial crisis level and the government deficit at £130 trillion which is double the figure Gideon forecast at the beginning of the Parliament.

So most people are worse off and there's years more of austerity to come!

Depressing really isn't it.

Nichts zu danken!

On the news the other day, bentley making record profits, sales up 61 percent in china, yet workers told they have to bank hours cause sales to china are down. Just doesn't add up.

Recovery means their rich mates are starting to make money again. Us working class plebs meanwhile continue to struggle with zero help.

I know it is futile Len but i try to ignore it best i can.
No idea how we do recover or even if we will, i admit to not being the most clued up on finances though.

As long as i stick my bank card in the wall and money comes out after i press things that will do for myself.
Not the best way of dealing with my finances but meh as you say it is depressing stuff.

Ah but the UK economy is slightly bigger than its pre recession peak and when you give that to the spin/pr guys it turns into recovery.
