Good point succinctly made!Fraud you say?
Offices being raided?
Erm aren't we being accused of fraud by all and sundry?
And hey, what do you know, our offices haven't been raided.....or ever will be!

Don’t hold your breath.Mansour is nowhere near RedBird's sports investments, I think. Not a good look, though (Edit: I mean not a good look for the potential UK press investment, not a bad look for Mansour personally ...).
If Ratcliffe is "co-owner" of United, then RedBird is presumably "co-owner" of Liverpool. Awaiting the headlines that Liverpool co-owner raided by police, along with ex-CEO of Arsenal.
Think one of Mansours investment arms have set up joint venture with Red Bird to buy Newspapers and media production companies. As Red Bird are just a big Private Investment firm am assuming that lots of very rich , well known and otherwise people will have parked there cash with them and be part investors in a huge range of companies , FSG being one company they invested in but have invested in many others.Red Bird owns a minority stake in Liverpool, no? Think something is going on with multi-clubs after what Edwards said.
Mansour is also financing Red Bird in their UK media investment, isn't he?
Speaking of RedBird, this made the main evening news earlier.Think one of Mansours investment arms have set up joint venture with Red Bird to buy Newspapers and media production companies. On the media front think Mansours the bigger investor and now own the company who makes Squid games so hopefully will be used as a template for dealing with all those who crossed us.

Ban on foreign government owning newspapers and news magazines.
Ziegler says we are “directed by AbuDhabi gov.”Nothing wrong with that. Makes perfect sense. If it is aimed at Mansour, though, they will have to show that he is investing through the Barclays on behalf of the state and that he will have any say in the running of the newspaper. Easy to get around it if he is really that bothered, imo. I am more interested in why he wants to help the Barclays invest in a dying business. Surely he can't be expecting to make money out of it unless it's from some deal with the Barclays at a later date?
A side note: conflating this with football as Ziegler is doing is stupid. There are no national security concerns with a state owning a football club so the links with the UAE government are 10% (if that) as sensitive. Even if there were football concerns, they would still have to show that he has invested in football on behalf of the state and no-one with a brain has tried that even after 15 years.
But but but, the PL have “raided“ our documents for six years. Liverpool too.Fraud you say?

People without a brain have tried it every day since the summer of '08.Nothing wrong with that. Makes perfect sense.
