Red Dead Redemption

Anyone play this online? I'm level 14 at the mo and I can't find any other ways of levelling up other than taking on gang hideouts.

I'm doing my challenges as I go along, but I only get about 250 xp per challenge!

Any tips for single player would be cool, and also how the fuck do you play liars dice!

Liars dice is a bit complicated for me too but i think i've grasped the basics. it's harder when there are more dice on the table though.

So imagine 3 on the table each with 5 dice each. player 1 says "there are at least 3 4's" if you have 3 fours in your hand then you are certain he is telling the truth.

but imagine if he says there are at least 8 5's (unlikely i know) and you have no 5's in your hand then there would have to be 8 5's in the remaining 10 dices held by your opponents so he is likely to be bluffing.

as i said it gets easy with less dice, when each of you are down to 2 dice each (6 on the table total) IT IS LESS EASY TO LIE.

If your opponent says there are 4 2's and you have none you know he is gambling on the other person on the table having 2 2's which is unlikely.

Don't know what it is about RDR but i can't seem to bring myself to play it for more than half an hour or so....it's a great game and i'm enjoying it, but i seem to be doing one or 2 missions then coming off it, not something i can play for hours on end

This.

I enjoy playing it but get bored after a bit so start rampaging through the nearest town.

I'm the same. I go for a ride and then get a wee bit bored with chasing trains, putting carriges on train tracks, killing my horse etc etc so climb up on a building with hoarding boards on it and start shooting the locals. Sure enough a gang of marshalls turn up so i shoot them as well. In the face. Then another load turn up and sit in the building i'm on top of. Hmmm...time to run. I wait for a train. It turns up and just as it pulls away i run like a sprinter on acid and leap for glory before dying horribly from a mixture of gunshot wounds and a train running over me.

Just received my copy, bought of Ebay for £23 including some giant map!

What've I got to look forward to??

Any hints or tips fella's???

Always have 5 medicine's with you and use cover a lot.

When you aim at an enemy lift the aiming stick up ever so slightly after locking on and try and get a headshot. Saves Bullets.

When you kill a group go round and loot them all after they are all dead.
