got to be lea and perrins on everything (worcestershire sauce) top in tomato soup, brown sauce with a boiled egg and of course soldiers

Red for me. Chilli ketchup is good. And mayonnaise. Not salad cream though, devil's food.
 
I put this on bacon sandwiches and stuff. Maggi seasoning. Its lovely.

brown sauce = bacon egg on toast

red sauce = fish and chips

Worcestershire sauce = cheese on toast

mayo = cheese sald barm wi' salt

Tabasco = bolognese or anythin g man cooked.

These are the basic ground rules for any foods prepared by man, anything else is sheer folly.
 
Now one of the things that's always baffled me is that HP sauce is always cheapest in the smallest bottle. Usually its the more you buy the cheaper it is but bulk buying does not pay with HP sauce.
