Redknapp is a disgrace

He speaks sense..end of..people need to take the blinkers off..it is a poor season if we end up with one cup after the investment.
He talks shit, his analysis of games is weak to say the least, he is the most limited pundit Sky have, that's why he picks out the obvious on a level with your average Joe football fan that's why Sky keep him as when it comes to throurough analysis of the likes of Neville and Carragher he can't get close
Think how many minutes he's appeared on everyone's screens over the past few years. And in all that time he has never, once, said anything of even the most remote interest.

He is right in what he's saying though, if we do only win the League Cup this year, it is a failure. We are so much better than just that for show, messing up on Sunday, and in the PL away games at the start of the season has really cost us.

I don't think you can simply categorize it as PASS/FAIL. New Manager, learning experience, etc. We have been in 4 Competitions, which takes its toll. Wigan was a f*** up, there's no getting away from that. But, although we may end up winning only one trophy, categorizing the season as a failure because of that is short term thinking. I don't believe our owners can be accused of that.

We are a step further up the ladder. We have seen the potential of this team and in my personal opinion it is a step above where Mancini could have taken us. One top central defender could have made a huge difference and we all know it. That will get sorted in the summer. this project is ongoing and there is much, much more to come.

Once he said that Alonso controlled the midfield. It was in the game where the red dippers beat the rags 4-1 at the swamp. Of course xavi Alonso didn't play in the game.

-- Thu Mar 13, 2014 7:55 am --

Does he ever mention how much his dad has spent and how well QPR are doing
I was just thinking about that. Problem is nobody cares about championship clubs.

He is a soft prick who would weep if you stuck a shovel in his hand and told the fucker to "get fucking digging".
Never done a days work in his life and as his dad once said "get the money, forget everything else, they forget you once your gone, get the money"
Take your manufactured pop band wife and get the fuck off my screens you useless inarticulate oratorically challenged penis.

F*ck the money that has been spent. This is Pellegrinis first season getting to know the players , imposing his style on the team whilst getting to grips with the Prem. To have got to March and still be in all four competitions has been a fantastic achievement. We have one trophy , and remember before 2011 it was an awful long time that we didn't do that on a regular basis , and can now concentrate on going for the title. I'd rather be part of Pellegrinis learning curve and first season at a new club than David Moyes !!!

The money comment confused me a little.

Our squad, Chelsea's and Man Utd's have around the same value.

Dear old Jamie though regardless of the masses of data available to him thinks his angle is correct and fine.

I would add though there is one more worse pundit, Dwight "thick as fuck" Yorke.
I would rather enjoy having a fight with him i must admit, see how chirpy he is after he has had his future read to him.
That fucking grin and his achingly bad grammar and insight, plus his tired mantra of how good utd are.

3 times in one passage of speaking he mentioned the amount of money we spent.

When he next comes to Etihad next he should be given it all barrels.

Bloody hell I wonder what you call people who actually do something wrong

This is why Redknapps comments are bollocks and deserve contempt.

the majority of the sky / red top media tow the company line ,they look after the majority of their customers i.e. rags , they heavily criticise all the top teams bar yoooonited , its not paranoia , we should all realise they have a business to run , and they cant afford to lose 75% of their UK/worlwide customer base by giving yooonited a hard time. Its about time we all stopped getting wound up about little shits like Redknapp , (who seriously under achieved as a player , and settled for a trophy wife , this says a lot about his morals and beliefs),weve had a lot worse criticism than daddys boy jamie throwing his toys out of his pram , fcuk em all , we are city , and we are here to stay.

I think we do generate a little bit of money as well now with sponsorship, TV and increased crowds but don't let a bit of poor stereotyping get in the way of a little dig eh Jamie?

You are spot on gmc bud you are, that said...

I just like the fact their business model was not robust and straight down the line and now they are paying for it.
Just on my own i have talked 3 disillusioned sky customers and sent them on the no bullshit road of super fast broadband towards virgin media.
The way BT sport are going sky will be dead in 8 years time.
I fully understand the urge to fold in to the placating rags thing but i also feel they could have been just as successful with no biased reporting.
I may be wrong but feel it could have been done.

I will never forget the way Stelling referred to us as the "villains" when we won the title.
Nothing to bad in saying that in it's self but i would ask Pidge to tell me different that they would not have done that with utd, no way in hell would they.
Also that Stelling is a rag, don't care who he says he supports he is a rag or at least pro utd.

Hinchy is more articulate and well spoken that the rest put together yet he is kept on doing the first division stuff.
Fuck off, he knows his shit and gives insight, give the man a proper platform talking about the prem.
The premise that big names mean big commentary has been blown away by Dwight Yorke alone.
I would also argue Rednapp was average and always injured so he is not exactly a big name.

So when the scum spend 150m in the summer will the media be saying they will have to at least win the league after spending 1/4 billion in 18 month or its a total failure by Moyse

I would say they would be saying he has to win the league, yes, if he does infact spend that much money. That is a shit load of money to spend in one window.

Perhaps but you can't really slate a pundit from concluding the season will be a failure if the Capital One Cup is the only trophy to be won after the money spent on the team...That's not really going out on a limb, to be fair

He's a terrible pundit, in general, however...Never quite understood why he is on air as much as he is but nepotism and a look that works well for TV plays a large part in it

I thought his general lack of knowledge, especially about the players was poor...Implying that Barcelona were unfamiliar with Yaya's attacking midfield prowess suggests he never saw Touré play much...Same goes regarding him overhyping the battle of Sergio/Negredo against our back line...I mean, most of your team are former La Liga players who have played often against Barcelona...There were few surprises in that regard so hard to conclude there was trepidation on anyone's part...He covered the match like he had no background info on either club or it's players and so it's a massive fail for that alone

What i dont understand is why daddys boy repeatedly mention the money we have spent , and if we win one minor cup our season will be a disaster ,an yet Barca who have the highest wage bill in sport, in the world , will do exactly the same this season , they will end up , with a minor cup , because they havent got a hope of winning la liga , and Hollywood FC will dry rape them again over 2 legs in the champs league , but redknapp ommitted to mention Barcas impending failings.
