I imagine work permits will be a bastard for Europe's top talents in the future so perhaps best to get the English lads in early before the premium really goes through the roof.

Well he's played 7 games in the PL and 3 in Europe and played at CB for England U17s

So,the consensus is.....he can play very well in both positions :-)

Well he's played 7 games in the PL and 3 in Europe and played at CB for England U17s

He can play both. Played more in midfield for West Ham last season but plays his youth football at CB and I think that's where he's gonna end up, Bilic is just easing him in.

A lot of his CB time came in a 3 at the back as well, taking pressure off him.

Heard good things about him but only seen him once, he was MoTM v Arsenal in that game however, playing as a DM!
Good signing for the future if true and perhaps even the present!

He's with the squad and played in the 2-1s against Croatia and the Dutch, not sure about the other game, I guess thats where everyone is scouting him
