Just looked at the next 3 games ;

Hull - Madley
Liverpool - pawson
Burnley - mason

FFS why do we keep getting the same 3/4 refs anyone would think there's an agenda.

The dipper game is a big game for a ref who has been shocking the last few weeks.

On the way to the ground today I had Bournemouth/Soton on, The commentator said it was the first time Clattenberg had reffed Bournemouth since they were promoted. That would be 50 odd games now, we've had Madley what seems like 4 times this season already.

As for today Atkinson ignored an early foul on Kev and was quick to card us but overall from what we normally get he was very good especially as he could have gotten away with incorrectly disallowing both our goals.

Awarded yellow cards against us for minor offences we committed
Awarded free kicks around the box for Arsenal when we got fuck all for similar fouls in the first half

Don't really think even the most biased, blue tinted, United hating, conspiracy theorist thinking supporter could argue with any of the bookings we received today !!

Thought Atkinson was pretty good today. Pawson is just incompetent rather than obviously biased and Mason seems to have toned it down since he was mysteriously 'withdrawn' from one of our games about 3 years ago. Madley's a different kettle of fish though. Absolutely fucking dire every time we get him. Second only to Taylor in my book in his shamelessness

No ref is going to get every single decision right but for me he handled a big game very well. If people are unhappy with his performance today then you will never be happy with any ref.

Agreed he did okay. Got most things right. Probably bottled a couple of Arsenal yellow cards but apart from that pretty good. I'd settle for this standard every week.

Deliberate handball is NOT an automatic yellow card. It's a misapprehension that many people have, including people on tv, who are paid to know better...

Good game fair got most things spot on also blew the final whistle before the hall was lumped into our box

Refreshing to be talking about other things than the ref after a game. Had Anthony "the red twat" Taylor and his assistants been in charge, I'm pretty sure both goals would have been discounted.

Refs get a right bashing on here, SOME (I'm looking at you Taylor) rightfully so, SOME not so much. To be fair its easy to give em the thumbs up when we won but other than an arguable inconsistency with yellows for dissent (gave Yaya, ignored one or two of theirs) he got everything spot on. I initially thought Sane was off, and with the benefit of slo mo which the refs hav'nt got it was touch and go, the second was totally fine and Cechs whinge is nothing more than an attempt to deflect attention I think

Trouble with referee rating is that it is very subjective and almost entirely outcome based. Whilst both goals were rightly given, imagine if the entire game was reversed. Played in London, City one up at the break, playing quite well and then they score those two goals. I'm not convinced that there would only be six pages on the ref by now with most people agreeing he did ok.........
