Ref for Leicester

If he refs according to the copy of the Laws of the Game I have here in front of me then there will not be a problem. Trouble is few refs this season have done so. They come with political, emotional and personal baggage. How any ref can book someone for diving, even Ash the Crash, without looking again at it, just shows how inadequate the system is. It's remarkable that they can be so sure someone has dived and the following week with a near identical incident they are so sure that it's a penalty.

We all know the ref is a rag and shouldn't be anywhere near a City game but this being said if we can't beat Leicester at home we do not deserve the title.

Why ? Leicester are at the top not by luck but actually playing well and beating teams. If we lose to them it's a kick in the stomach but saying we don't deserve the title because we lose to the top of the table team is daft.

im sure i remember the Everton fans moaning about him when we played them once, going on about how he was from Wythenshaw and how he shouldnt have been permitted to ref that game,we won that one

We get what we deserve tbh for not complaining about this twat, he's a rag everybody knows it.

He's a rag from a well-known family of rags and who lives in Wythenshawe. But because he's a member of the Cheshire FA, rather than the Manchester FA, and claims to support Altrincham, he's eligible to ref us and the rags.
If those facts are public knowledge, given the scrutiny refs are under these days from assessors in the stands and TV, I'd assume he'd try even harder not to get anything wrong.

That's not to say he won't, of course. Let's just hope any error is in our favour. We've had a few iffy decisions go our way recently, so let's hope that continues.

Is my memory playing tricks or did somebody's manager say that about him when he wasn't happy with a decision he gave for us?

I still remember the name Alf Grey 35 years later so let's hope he doesn't join him.
He was the one who invented illegal jumping to disallow our goal against the dippers in the cup.

That's him. Kevin Reeves. The most painful refereeing decision I've ever suffered, along with that penalty at Old Trafford in the FA Cup when we were 1-0 up.

Just remembered another term a referee made up especially for us.

"Aggressive walking". Kevin Horlock at Bournemouth I think.

You might mean that other ref who apparently is a Bolton fan and definitely not a scum fan! Lee fucking Mason? Brenda Rogers v Liverpool at the Etihad a couple of years ago?
