Ref for Leicester

My next door neighbour (a Middlesboro' fan) asked where my black armband was on Sunday. My reply was "Leicester deserved to win but they had the help of yet another incompetent referee".

Jim Beglin (a commentator I despise) said that Zabba was fould on the line and it should have been a penalty - he is usually negative about City.

The ball came off a Leicester player so should have been a goal kick not a corner, and Huth and his mate had the hands on Demi's shoulders preventing him from jumping.

It took Kun being totally taken out on the half way line for Taylor to finally accept that Kun had been on the end of a fair few illegal kicks earlier.

When are the FA going to do something about these clowns and their perceived bias toward one team?

For the Zabaleta penalty appeal, Webb on BT was a bit mealymouthed but said that he hated having that kind of decision, and it was too close to call. I agree with that. No-one had a decent angle of whether the contact was over the line or not.

Twice a corner or goalkick was given wrongly.

Huth's climbing was probably hidden from the ref (other than the extreme height he reached, but that would require guesswork which I don't want refs to do.

Aguero just offside possibly, but very close.

Morgan should definitely have been booked early on.

Pretty par for the course then!

There's no doubt the referee has had an impact on the game, but we can't blame him for the result. Our players can't get motivated for the big games and that's the be all and end all of our season.

He's a wrong un for me and this rag connection of his needs to be looked into.

Having said that, I don't think we lost against Leicester because of him. Not giving the Zaba penalty was understandable and I would have been disappointed had the Dinho one been given against us. There's so much wrong with their third goal I can't even be arsed going into it but the fact it was their third says it all. Sergio's goal offside? Haven't had a chance to see it again. His overall performance, 50-50 challenges, not booking their defender when he waved play on etc. very predictable.

It all felt a bit like Spurs away. Shit officials but an even shitter performance.

Every 50/50 went their way. If we were away from home that type of thing is to be expected but at home the majority of 50/50s normally should go your way. The reason it didn't is bias plain and simple.

The Zaba penalty claim, it's clear his foot that gets taken from under him is on the line, surely the lino can see that, never mind the rag Taylor?

I don't think we've had a "homer" for a couple of years mate..

I'll keep on saying it. The only time we get a "homer" is when we're away!
