On the whole the English Prem refs are fine, decent in fact. I cannot abide the standard of refereeing in Europe; stop-start-stop-start-stop, whistle blown every eight seconds, they leg it over to the placement of the foul, they fall for all the diving and feigning injury, they ruin what should be a free flowing sport. At least our refs have something about them and some knowledge of the game, i just think the game is too fast for just four officials to officiate it properly these days. I'd say i like the odd few in the CL like the Italian bloke Rizzoli, whereas i only dislike the odd few in the Prem.There isn't one who half-fills me with confidence but this guy is six feet below the bottom of the barrel. He is the living reason why video technology is desperately needed for cards, penalties, goals and sendings off. He got that so wrong! Even the RagDipperMeedya asked if that was the worst decision of the weekend.
The worst referee for many a decade. Well out of his depth in the Prem and i don't know how nobody has picked up on it. He is a nervous wreck in games and i do actually feel sorry for him.
