Ref for Saturday- West Ham (H)

So five subs, trainer on pitch twice or maybe even three times, time wasting by hammers subs taking ages to go off and he allows 4 mins Stopping a City attack to allow treatment for hammers player but same situation when they had the ball he allowed play to go on. Fat Bob never game us anything all game he allowed them to execute their game plan by disrupting play at will, totally useless official and was ably assisted by his inept linesmen. Just like the FA Youth Cup last season clearly doesn't like City. Yes it was his fault that City made mistakes that led to the goals but it was his job to ensure fairness which he clearly failed to do miserably

To say nothing of the other twat earlier who went down in the penalty area and was allowed to walk half the length of the pitch to go off instead of being told to go off behind the goal. The West Ham players absolutely had his number, which is why so many of the twats went down in the box when they weren't touched.
Correct. If you're injured you go off via the quickest possible route. If you fail to do that, extra time is recommended to be added for time wasting.
Time wasting, sadly, is a part of the game. I don't like it, but it's to be expected. However, West Ham today flaunted it in the face of the referee who clearly didn't see a problem with that. Poor refereeing.

Yeah, what really annoyed me, was the way he let Moses just stroll past Toure unchallenged before he let loose with that first goal. Scandalous too, was the way he let 3 different defensive errors take place in our box allowing them to score a second. The bloke has a lot to answer for.

And we were asking what Hart was doing to let that first goal in but there's a different thread for all that mate - this thread is for moaning about the referee who came across as a right bent twat.

He was literally turning his back on all the time wasting. He wasn't in the least bit interested in applying the laws of the game. West Ham saw this and took the piss and you can't blame them. The sheer fucking nonsense that went on was something to behold. Truly scandalous officiating.

Another utterly useless ****.

All that time wasting and not a single West Ham player was booked.

4 fucking minutes of added time?

Joke.

I have wound myself up even more about this and I've just emailed the EPL to request clarification re the rules on time wasting. Here is their website contact page in case anyone wishes to do likewise.

I copied it to the idiot Referee Association as well, which is here.

Here is what I said...

I attended the Manchester City FC V West Ham game earlier today and I witnessed countless example of the away team players being allowed to time waste at will without so much as a warning from those officiating. This included players being allowed to virtually circumnavigate the stadium before leaving the field of play after feigning injury. This happened time and time again. Meanwhile, the away team's GK was allowed to hang on to the ball for exceedingly long periods of time without admonishment. None of this was reflected in the woefully inadequate four minutes injury time that was called by the fourth official.

Please could you clarify what the rules of the game are with respect to this?

He was, literally, turning his back on it. After 20 minutes it's as clear as the nose on my face that Adrian is time wasting so why not book him?

This is where we suggest there is an agenda because I think the referee deliberately ignored it. Even Mark Noble was picking his own fucking player up.

Not sure who it was from where I sat but the ref was ushering the west ham player on the ground to get to the side to not time waste. The player got up but sat down again, the ref seemed to say carry on then. Shocking

When I put this thread up last Monday (which I normally do every week) there was a few guys who questioned who the fuck he was......well after that fucking shocker we will have a different reaction the next time he has us that's for sure

That settles it. See my previous post. I knew I wasn't seeing things. He was turning his back on everything. It was baffling. I think had a bet on WHFC to win.

He was absolute gash today.

He could have stamped out the time-wasting by warning Adrian the first time and booking him on the second occasion he did it.

But no, by letting it go, he looked weak and easy to manipulate, which he turned out to be.

And as for only four minutes of time added on at the end of the match, words fail me.

A truly shocking display from the man in black tonight. He certainly wan`t to blame for our defeat but his overall decisions were somewhat amazing. He looked like the game was too big for him and appeared to be like a rabbit in those headlights.
Just woeful.Hope we never see the coont again.

In a fairly fought game with nothing malicious or dangerous to get ontop of all he had to do all game was hurry West Ham up and he didn't do it. Poor game, that should have been about 7minutes on at the end of that game and he'd have had the easiest afternoon refereeing you could imagine. But 4minutes was laughable. You get 30seconds for each sub so there's 3minutes so we got 1minute, ONE, for the time wasting!

I didn't have any issue with most of the decisions. Those penalty appeals in the second half were very weak.

His management of the time wasting was terrible but we created that by being so shit in the first half. We carried on where we left off on Tuesday. To be honest the last two games have shown signs of last seasons problems.

He didn't make any big mistake so it's useless to talk about him. It's very hard to get more than 4 minutes on the end these days. 3-4 is pretty much norm, 3 if there were no injuries and 4 if there was some short one. Time wasting is never being counted, specially the keeper's, you're deluded if you think he'll add time for that.
