Ref for Sunday - Everton

These are almost unbelievable stats when you see them in black and white. One of the things that was so interesting on Sunday was the contrast between our players and Chelsea when reacting to fouls. Hazard went down at the lightest touch and was immediately awarded a free kick. So did most of their team. David was subject to constant fouling and keeps going until he is rugby tackled. Same with Sergio. I think I even detected a change in raheem who seemed less keen on hitting the turf. Do we think this attitude explains the stats? It's difficult to believe that there is institutional bias against us from the entire referee community or am I being naive? By the way Madchester, great post.

Cheers for making this an individual subject, I to agree that the stats are shocking and a City should be investigating if they aren't already

Thought he did alright today. Didn't try to change the outcome or be the star. That booking was bad though. His crew called a difficult but entirely correct offside.

Apart from not stopping play when Sagna went down with a head injury and letting Everton foul Silva with impunity, I didn't think he was THAT bad today.
