I wouldn't agree, the defense does rely on collective pressing rather than rock hard defenders (who would typically not be able to play rock hard defenders)

My thinking is our central midfield was the one most affected by tiredness, as Gündogan, Fernandinho and Silva had all played most of the Liverpool game.

That and overconfidence after the first half performance, led to the lack of tracking of runners by our midfield. Not great, but not necessarily typical of the team.

Atkinson needs to be sacked by the FA after that horror show. But somehow i feel that a certain someone in the FA will be patting him on the back for a great performance

In light of that disgusting near leg breaker on Sergio, will the FA look at the incident and take action - i wont hold my breath
