Well, we've not had him yet this season so the law of averages said we'd have to get him at some point. We're starting to take on a bit of a victim mentality though by complaining about who we get every single week. That said, he's an awful ref though. One of the worst.

It says everything about Mason that the club, on the basis of information they'd been given, demanded he was withdrawn from games involving us in the run-up to the 2012 title.

Don't get me wrong, I think Mason is possibly the worst out there and the only one I think has a genuine dislike of City.

I was making a more general point that we seem to complain whoever we get, which weakens the argument for any legitimate grievances we have.

The major worry for me with Mason getting the gig is the free kicks he will be doling out to WB, set pieces are the only real threat they pose and I reckon this twat will be giving them every opportunity to capitalise... Lets just hope City get an early goal and go on to bury them, nullifying the dodgy decisions we know he is going to make.

It should never be forgotten how blatantly bent those last few months were that season. It got so obvious in the end, and it made it all the sweeter
