Yep, that point that he hasn't refereed any prem games for us this season was highlighted earlier in the thread.

So my comment was tongue-in-cheek/sarcastic with regards to any claims he was part of the agenda, hence the wink at the end of my post.

All the talk about Mason been a Bolton fan. I know for a fact that he was a Manchester United fan when he reffed in the Noth Counties league. He was open about been a match going rag. He now claims to be a Bolton fan, smells a bit iffy to me!?!?

Can't we let his tyres down before he sets off or tie him to a lamp post (stag nite style) so that the 4th official becomes the Ref??

Incidentally, that fat pscyphant on Talkshite, Ronnie Irani was very cagey about Mason when Alan Brazil questioned his allegiences, i bet he is a dirty Rag who comes from Westhoughton??

Late switch from Mason to Probert eh?

Anyone would think someone has provided the FA with a dossier on "statistical anomalies" involving certain referees and has threatened to go public unless things change. I'd love it to happen but my bet is they're playing the long game and saving him for the derby/Newcastle/QPR game if things go badly wrong for the Rags.
