Ref Watch

BENT is the right word

the whole system is bent to the core and the Officials are told how to referee the game, then VAR gives them the way out when something is needed to change the result, Brighton won that game vs Spurs, no if or buts, Somebody high up on the Premier League Broad told the referee and VAR that Spurs need the result make it happen,
In years gone by you would’ve been called paranoid and wearing of a tinfoil hat but now, it’s very hard to come to any other conclusion.

Hit his hip It wasn’t a clear and obvious error in any case
Should have had 2 pens and the 2 disallowed were wrong Atwell and the Lino Cann the duo who allowed the goal in the derby something stinks to high heaven
I only saw bits of the game yesterday as I was watching a goal rush stream and this wasn't the featured match. From the behind the goal angle it certainly looked to brush his hand maybe after his hip. The Mitoma handball was a very questionable call to say the least and those 2 penalies that Brighton should've had were nailed on. Attwell and whoever was on VAR duty definitely need calling to account for those at the very least. Considering they are supposed to be one of our better refereeing teams then they certainly get involved in some controversial calls.

If anyone wants an example of how officials can fix a match in the premier league, watch back the Spurs-Brighton match in full.

If I were at Brighton, I would be drafting an official complaint to the league to be submitted simultaneously to a public statement posted on the official site regarding the referee and VAR performance in that match.

Their manager was sent off (and will likely be fined) for calling out the blatant corruption that lead to Spurs winning a game they likely should have won 1-3. Managers of non-cash cow clubs are starting to see how certain clubs are aided to their team’s detriment and the league are trying to keep them quiet via punishment (and threat of more severe consequences).
Having watched the highlights, two clear penalties for Brighton, the foul on Mitoma and the pull on Dunk. Also, not sure the Brighton goal disallowed for handball, touched the player’s hand. Certainly not clear and obvious. Disgraceful really that Atwell and his var team, who backed him to the hilt, are able to influence a game with a lot riding on it. His incompetence has been plain to see all season. Capped it off by sending the Spurs caretaker-manager off, who was the only one who steered clear of the melee.

I noticed on Sky yesterday afternoon during the Spurs match that Jeff Stelling called out Howard Webb to sort the
the officials and VAR out.
Stelling and the panel had noticed the dodgy decisions, they were that blatant.
Yeah Webb is the problem tho…

Just seen the highlights, Brighton were absolutely robbed. Atwell is either the most incompetent ref in the game or the biggest cheat in the game, or both. Spurs are in the top 3 of var beneficiaries along with dippers and rags. Brighton may be in the bottom 3 with us

The Mitoma goal should have stood. If you take into account that Romero gave him a slight push just before he took the ball it should either be a goal or a penalty. Without the push by Romero, Mitoma would have took the ball on his chest.
The Welbeck goal should have stood as it hit MacAllister`s hip, and 2 nailed on penalties ignored.
Whilst we all appear to have poor decisions given against us at some point I don`t think I`ve seen so many decision go against a team in one match.
