Ref Watch

Rodri booked for a lesser version of what Partey did to Haaland, so question is why Partey not booked..

a) because he was on a yellow
b) because he plays for Arsenal
c) because he doesn't play for City

All anyone wants is consistency in refereeing and that is so far from it
Thomas Partey could have been Jack the Ripper tonight and got away with fukin everything. Oliver is a a fukin bent **** simple.

This is the frame circulating on social media supposedly showing Stones offside.

What it doesn’t show is the angle VAR used to track the actual offside line.

White’s boot is behind Stones in the shot being shared all over and, to answer all of the comments about how the angle they used to check doesn’t show the ball, they can sync the frames between angles (they are timestamped between cameras) so VAR can then find an angle that actually shows a clear view of the players to assess offside at that exact timestamp.

Feel free to circulate this explanation so we can stop these stupid desperate arguments.

Ball has OBVIOUSLY left the foot at at this point.

How was free out given when we were fouled for a pen and ball netted.... Clutching at straws.

Gave them every single 50:50 until we were out of sight. ****.
And ignored a clear penalty, many different clear fouls on Jack in the first 20 minutes, didn’t give Partey an obvious second yellow.

Only thing he did that was arguably in our favour was not giving a very dubious handball on Haaland.

Apart from that, this was an example of the referee (not VAR, to be clear) trying to influence a match result.

We were fortunately just too good for him to be successful.
