Here’s the thing that confuses me.

The commentary team can hear the to-and-fro between the ref and the VAR. that’s why they can say ‘John Moss is having a look at that.’

So why can’t they release that to us?

Chris, I’m pretty sure that the broadcasters communicate with Stockley Park. They have the ideal opportunity to highlight and magnify any incident they choose. Giving them the ability to influence the officials, which ultimately gives the broadcaster, commentators the ability to influence the outcome of any game.
Collusion? Most definitely!

Not see a reply from behind teh touchlne since watching last night but Wellbeck clearly moves to hook his arm into Cancelo's arm in an attempt to win the foul. Clearly trying to cause an incident in his favor. If he is to fail so what. By succeeding a red needs to be considered.

A lot of these comments on here are clearly very well informed/knowledgeable ( @hertsblue as a good example, there are many others)about certain incidents, last night and hiostortical . If no one official or at club level is willing to take the matter of piss poor officiating to task what about sponsoring some of these knowledgeable fans to pull together over a season or two a dossier to present to the officials and the press? If suitability professional in approach then it should get some publicity. I'm happy to contribute if it was considered possible to achieve something of merit and factual.

Agreed. His usual response on the occasions an incident he has backed is denied by VAR is to justify his views by then saying "but by the letter of the law ........" He makes up the LofG as he goes along. He's an idiot
