Referee for Bournemouth

Making a point about these ref threads, which by and large go on as though every single one of them are out to get us. As I say, forums of other clubs say the same, which begs the question - just who are they out to get?

Under this ref we've lost one, win two.
personally I'm not arsed about the ref, but I am bothered about the number of times you have a pop at other posters, therefore take it as a mod note to heed, or not, as you see fit.

Is there a ref that anyone would be happy with? Every time one of these threads is created the first reply usually includes expletives of some sort haha

In reply to Phelans Pace.... i didnt say he was biased against City.... i said he was a shit ref and not fit to ref in Premier league. If you disagree thats your perogative but im not changing my opinion ..... he is shit and thats a fact.

I don't pay much attention to them as I know things even themselves out and it's not as cut and dry as fans see it. As said, we've had him three times and currently stand at won 2, lost 1.

The results are irrelevant. I have found him to be incompetent in the games I've watched with him in charge. The most obvious example would be failing to give Navas a penalty at Goodison, a fucking ludicrous decision.

And nicking wine from tesco
Bernard Manning said at the time, (to paraphrase) "that fucking pair on the telly, come on the morning show telling you what you can or can't eat or drink, you can have whatever you want when you're nicking it, Pinch and Judy, fuck em!!"

I'm going to say this with all due respect to Bournemouth...the ref should have no bearing on the result. The fact that we are worried that he may speaks volumes about the current morale and leadership at the club.

Interesting that you'd go to look at the stats but only use the league, rather than use your view of the actual games. You missed the cup game.

This ref is less than capable, and could almost be bias with the decisions he's given. People will always have opinions, which are good, but I like to take mine from the game rather than the revisionism of checking the stats afterwards to try and prove a point.

Well the incompetent twunt owes us at least a pen, so let's see if that 'luck' evens itself out on Saturday, and at least Bournemouth aren't as likely as Neverton to be allowed to kick seven shades out of us

I didn't say he was "out to get us". My frustration with him being chosen is that he's grossly incompetent.

Atkinson and Dean are usually competent, although the approach to the game can vary from match to match.

Clattenburg - generally sound, but indulgent of some players, will let the first reducer go, and is always likely to have a 'moment' which is spectacularly wrong.
Madley - needs a few more years in the trenches to see the game. PL referee in his 20s I think, which is extremely young. Awful.
Mason - awful, at least as bad as Madley.
Marriner - generally I like Marriner, he's had a rough few years, but I'd like to see him back.
Oliver - spineless and feeble, unwilling to take the big decisions.
Moss - I assume he does OK because I can't think of any contentious decision he's been involved in.
Taylor - poor, seems to miss a lot of significant incidents.
East - see Taylor
Pawson - he's one of the better ones
Friend - he's one of the better ones
Jones - see Oliver
Swarbrick - who?

And nicking wine from tesco

It never goes away, that one, does it? He was on the One Show last night and I said to Mrs Ewing "Wonder if he's been in Tesco lately?"

Anyways, it's about time we had a shit call in our favour from these whistling wankers. We had the Sterling one, but ref wouldn't have known that was out nor the lino - we need another Jonny Moss pen call where the pace of the ball ruffles the sleeve on a shirt and we get a gratuitous pen - that bursts the net. Or a couple of 'Arringay 'Offsides!

Awful referee, nowhere near Premier League level. I'd go as far as saying even Anthony Taylor outshines him.

We've lost two (West Ham at home and Everton away in the Capital One cup semi) not one. And irrespective of the outcomes, the salient point is that he referred both of those games like an epic ****, including ignoring Navas being upended for one of the most blatant penalties of the season. Up there with Taylor, Mason and Cuntenburg as the biggest City hating official on the circuit.
