Hardly a ringing endorsement. Stevie Wonder would be better that Clattenberg. I remember a lot of wailing and gnashing of teeth before the semi final; ''Oh no; we've got Mike Dean on saturday. We may as well not bother turning up''. Didn't work out that bad in the end, did it? Same with Atkinson in the final; ''that's the **** who gave the rags all that injury time at the swamp when ''Little Michael''™ scored against us. Therefore Atkinson obviously hates us.'' Again, it could have worked out a lot worse. Sure, Huth should have walked for his elbow on Mario, but Yaya got away with a nasty challenge later in the game. The point is, if we bring our 'A' game on the day, we needn't be afraid of the ref.
