Ref was poor, wouldn't blame him for the defeat I'd blame our managers and players. What I didn't understand was how Sterling got booked for his first foul (when he won the ball) yet that left back was able to kick Sterling from minute one?

Mariner knew that all he had to do, for an easy life, is give all the soft FKs to them and none to use he was a classic homer He gave us nothing until it was 3:1 He got worried at 4:3 and made sure his next decision was for Liverpool KDB was fouled in the build up to 2nd and definitely a foul on Stones that goal changed the game I think Pep took Sterling off to protect him from a second yellow as Mariner was itching to go down in Scouse folklore Raheem’s booking was for a good tackle Having said all that we only have ourselves to blame

Funny thing is I never get that feeling when he's at The Etihad.

No booked for tripping mane, only a foul was given when he shouldered the ball, it was no more a handball if he had kicked it. Awful decision and lets face it, he could have got a second yellow. Awful decision.

It wasn't a good tackle, he might have got the ball, but it was pretty much a scissor tackle, which are dangerous.Raheem’s booking was for a good tackle
The ball hit him on the badge from what I saw, and how it could be interpreted as handball I have no idea. Don't agree never a scissor tackle he won the ball from the side There was a scissor tackle by a Liverpool player in the first half which no FK was given for Mariner was a classic homer in for any easy ride

They're two of the less well-known ones, but have been around for a few years.
Tierney did the home Southampton match; Scott the league match at Leicester.

Southampton, bobbins on the time-wasting but played just until Sterling scored then blew straight away for full-time, so will take that.
