In a strange way I was happy we were a victim of a shite decision over the penalty (only because we won in the end), because people were beginning to believe mournios claim that the refs were aiding us.

Now Clattenburg is gone, in a league table of Ref's I don't trust this guy is number one.
This supposedly neutral referee admitted hating us when he appeared at a Bolton supporters club.
I think Madley is just clueless.
If this is the best league in the world, why aren't we flying in the best Ref's do a proper job.

Manipulation. There are so many variations within a game as to how the Laws of the Game are applied that any 'neutral', if yer could find one, would remark that referees, either through mischief or cluelessness, are not impartial.

We get refs blowing for the most innocuous nudge anywhere outside the area and inside they continue to ignore so many fouls where the victim stays on his feet.

As for Mason, is there a set of fans who relish his appointment to their match? He's another who continually hides his perpetual uselessness behind cards and his employers.

Two moments stick out for me with Jones, first one is booking Aguero for diving against Southampton after he was clearly tripped in their box and the second is from New years day 2012, we beat Liverpool 3-0 at home despite this **** giving Charlie Adam free reign to kick and hack our players all game and then sends Barry off for a couple of innocuous fouls. Incompetent would be a compliment for this man.

Moss can't keep up with play. He obviously spends quite some time on rolling stones.

The last time we had Mason was against Burnley at home last season, Pep lost his head at the end of the game with him, looked like he wanted to kill him. He's just a fat Howard Webb.

Haha! Even the RDAHMeedya labelled that one 'Is this the worst decision of the weekend?' Jones is a reincarnation of Corporal Jones who doesn't heed the latter beseeching everyone not to panic! That single decision would be top of my list as to how referees continue to get major, potentially match-changing decisions so wrong!

Christmas in bed for you I fear with a thermometer under the tongue. Mason’s family are a mix of Bolton fans and rags. In the field of refereeing cnutistry he’s second only to the Altrincham fan. Jones meanwhile is incompetent to an epic degree. That yellow card he gave Sergio down at Southampton for diving, when he was not so much fouled as harvested, ranks as one of the worst decisions I’ve ever seen
 
Quite impressive by Mariner's standards. That being said, it would be a great steaming pile of shit in any other league. ****.
 
Give credit - Mariner was good tonight - missed the red card first half but he was unsighted so his assistant who had a great view let him down. Taylor and Madderly would have given Newcastle a pen.
 
He also missed the foul when Ottimendi headed off the line, 5 minutes later the forward steamed in and took him out. No attempt to play the ball, it went out for a corner minutes before. Poor decision.
 
2nd half ref was ok but 1st half he and the linos were awful
No red card for Murphy, not even a yellow
Offside given on Sergio which wasn’t
As clear a foul on Ota as he made the headed clearance- nothing given apart from a corner to the them
A missed corner for us

There was a whole stack of wrong decisions in that half.
