I think the fact the PGMOL wanted to demote a decent referee in Graham Scott at the end of last season says everything you need to know. Yet they persist in keeping the deadwood in Lee Mason, Mike Jones et al. Little wonder refereeing is probably the worst it's been for a few decades now.

Clueless, the lot of em.

The PL is a commercially driven business, globally and it makes its money through TV deals. Scudamore is on record saying he wants certain names lifting the league title because it's good for business and its good for the TV companies paying for the privilege.

Factor that in and the betting industry not just here but globally again, especially in the far east where its been proven time and time again they think nothing of paying to alter results of sporting fixtures and it not a stretch to think the same is happening in our game right here as it has in other sports, cricket especially.

Leicester became a milch cow for the PL and the decisions they got the season they won were quite extraordinary from officials game after game and went a huge way to helping them to a title that again was very welcome in a far east market being targeted commercially.

PiGMOL serve one master and one master only and those within it will do anything to stay within it.

I have absolute faith in what i've been told re our own investigations a few years back where we provided the league with proof that certain refs on the take where doing their best to influence results against us and as its been said, we got resignations and mason being removed from our games for the rest of that season.

Hardly the behaviour of an organisation/people with nothing to hide and its why we never seem to be given a fair shot in games by Mason and a few others since.

What your asking me to believe is the FA Chairman David Bernstein was knowledgeable about this cover up, the whole pf the mainstream media decided not to run the story and then the ex-Manchester City executive who was the Chairman on PIGMOL in 2013 also kept it quiet and did not investigate.

And now even though City have all this evidence of Masons corruption they are still using him to try and cheat us?

The ref was shocking tonight, completely agree, but I am not convinced it is any more than that.

So why are all these refs shocking when they rock up at our game. I see these refs doing Chelsea or whoever and
think they must be getting better. PIGMOL's training must be getting better and/or working. But no, they
come to us and take the piss, with regularity.

Can you answer my question this time. You said in 2012 there was a cover up the chairman of the Fa was David Bernstein at this time, was he part of this cover up?

Agreed.

Evens itself out over a season - anyone trying something like that on Kane or Alli would not only see red - he would be vilified in the press as ultimate evil and may get ban for months.
