The conclusion with Madeley, particularly after the Diaz incident, is that his eyesight is impaired. Fifty thousand people had a clear view of that. Or it may be that he thinks that kind of challenge is somehow not fitting the notion of violent play, in which case he should be retired and presented with a ball of wool and some knitting needles. There is a further conclusion, but having the 'best' referees in the world should be enough to perish the thought.

Madley is just an attention seeking twat. Waiting an age to show a card, allowing players to group around him, walking over to them afterwards to have a chat about his decisions. Just get on with reffing the game, stamp down early on these shit tackles by booking people and stop making it all about you. Thank fuck we won’t have him or Mason for a while now

By not giving a card for tackles that require one the ref simply gives a free card to any thug who fancies the 'accolade' of nailing one of our players. He caused more problems with this reffing last night than he solved.

My expectations of the officials are so low they're next to dinosaur bones. The current generation makes the period of Graham Poll, Rob Styles, Jeff Winter, Uriah Rennie, Webb, etc, look like some kind of refereeing golden era. There will be no English officials in the World Cup, its an indictment on the English game, and Mike Riley really does need to be held to account. The only person I've seen speak out is Mark Halsey on the standard of officiating. Clattenburg and Webb, for all their faults, at least refereed major finals, this current lot are a million miles away from that.

english referee are fecking stupid.
their first task supposed to protect players from dangerous tackle.
any leg breaking attempt, whether with contact or not, should be punished with red card.

i would like to see the following rules ;
1. any player get injured miss the game because of bad tackle,
the offender should be banned from playing for the same period.

2. offender's club have to pay heavy fines,
depend on the salary of injured player, and how many weeks he missed.
in this case leroy sane missed for 6 weeks, and his salary are 100k/week.
than Cardiff have to pay 600k to City.

all thugs and dirty club will think twice before they assaulting another players.

Do you think your rules might be open to abuse somewhat?

His World Cup Final was a remarkable example of how not to referee. He was terrible. The Dutch players didn't make it easy for himself but he had probably decided that he wasn't gonna be remembered for sending someone off in a major final. The only trouble is that he is remembered for applying the laws of the game in a similar manner to the incompetent we had last night.

Obviously there's a directive from the top to have blurred vision regarding scything tackles on City, whilst being eagle eyed on any slight misdemeanour by the blues !

There was one particular point last night, Arthur, where Madeley nearly had steam coming out of his ears and his ares about The Baggies taking a throw from the incorrect place. They are smack on the money when it comes to players taking off their shirts, kicking the ball away, outfielders wasting time, and all the other minutiae of the game, but come the point where a thug is hell bent, come hell or high water, on nailing our player, the refs are mysteriously unknowledgeable!

We’ve now had 8 attempts made at seriously injuring our players this season and not a single one punished with a red card.

Just to prove how differently we are refereed in games, I will happily make another £10 donation to charity (Ric will confirm I’m good for it) if any of the apologists can provide us with videos of 8 or more similar incidents from the 18 other Premier League clubs (I don’t include the rag scum because thats way too easy) this season which haven’t been punished by a red card.

Madley not Madeley.
