First caller on 6-0-6 this evening was a Dippers fan. When asked how far away they were from City, he couldn't wait to mention the "Oil Money". This media narrative is obviously being bought by other fans, who are just using it as an excuse for their team not being able to compete with a much better team.
We are not only better on the pitch, but off the pitch in terms of facilities, training methods, transfer strategy and youth development. Were are setting the foundations of a strong, competitive club for seasons to come (unless the football authorities find a new way to screw us over since FFP failed so miserably).
As other have said, the original Sky Big 4 cartel benefited hugely from the Champions League money swishing around in the 90's and early 2000's. And where was the media negativity towards the Scum, who were regularly breaking the transfer record and rattling off trophy after trophy? F**king non-existent; that's where. Hypocrite's the f**king lot of them.
