Reform 2025 Limited new name same business

I see Ben Habib has left them. He gave his reason as the structure of Reform. Basically there are very few shares in the PLC, Farage owns more than 60% and so any donation to them is effectively a personal one as he has complete control as the major shareholder. Apologies if this is mentioned further back in the thread but I haven't time to read it all.

No he hasn't - he was sacked - fucked off for another Asian bloke (multiculturalism innit mate?) who had more money.

Habib knew when he was part of the whole crew what was going on its just because he was bounced out he is now spilling his guts to anyone who will listen

Is that why he keeps it as a Ltd Co, so that he can use the funding for himself.

Still think Reform will be gone by the next election however their key players will be leading the Tories by then, and Farage will be the next PM however well Labour does because, as we’ve seen in the USA, people can be persuaded to vote against their best interests by a manipulative media which will ignore any achievements by Labour, instil a sense of victimhood amongst the population and promise simple answers to complicated questions that appeal to the hard of thinking.
Hope I’m wrong but long term I think we’re fucked.

I'm not referring to his fall out months ago. He was interviewed earlier this week after the Farage/Musk meeting had taken place and he specifically referred to the structure of Reform and how Farage is set to benefit personally by any cash input. I've no time for any of them but it was an interesting take on how things may progress.

Don´t think we´ve quite descended to the clown car shit show that is the US of A ......yet
I´d like to believe we still have some semblance of an inate sense of fairness and justice

It will all depend who offers the best package at the time. If Labour do OK and bring a sense of well-being to the country, then they’ll probably continue.

However, if that feeling is not big enough, the powers that be will push their agenda, giving people a decision to make.

For an example of how hard it will be for Labour to overcome this current era of media manipulation, just check out the reporting on those that they’ve deported. I’d heard the 10,000 figure and couldn’t believe that anybody was reporting it. Then the 13,500 was mentioned as Sky News interviewed a Tory rep, only for that rep to claim that it was them that can take credit for it, due to previous policies.

An out-and-out lie that the interviewer allowed without question.

I think a lot depends on the economy. I don't think individual govts have as much sway on this as they would like us to think unless they do something utterly stupid like Truss. If Starmer can catch the crest of a global economic wave as Blair did in 97 then I think the country will be in a much better place - especially if interest rates/ inflation are lower. If not, and with the Tories in such a mess then reform or whatever guise farage etc take may seem like the alternative.

It’s not how the economy is actually performing, more how it’s perceived. The US economy has been the strongest major economy in the world since the pandemic but people have been persuaded that it’s terrible because prices aren’t what they were after global inflation hit in the post pandemic period and prices haven’t come down. So they’ve voted for a moron because he sad he’ll reduce the price of fucking eggs. Even if he doesn’t he’ll say he has and mugs will believe him. Complete shit show over there and I’ve no confidence we’re any more sensible as an electorate.

Long way to go. Let's see how well Trump does, people seem to forget his approval rating was rock bottom when he left last time and he's already showing signs of massive incompetence. Our next election will align with the US 28 or just after and that could put different perspective on things.

We all know how well Trump will do. There’s a pretty good chance he’ll cause a global recession which in this country will be blamed on Labour.

Exactly how I see it and called it for a few months now , except I could see Reform over taking conservatives- either way, Musk + social media propaganda will have a huge sway. I so hope I’m wrong

It will and I'm getting frustrated at the lack of action by the government to curtail its political influence.

I've written to my MP and got the bog standard reply about what labour have done rather than answer the question.

Reform Treasurer - Rich ****
Elon Musk - Very Rich ****

To paraphrase Mrs Merton; "So Nigel...What attracted you to billionaires...?

Simplistic view.

Labour front bench mostly rich cunts by any sort of normal margin.

We are ruled by a political elite regardless mate.

Can't argue with that.

Labour benches are filled with Westminster bubble Tony Blair foundation created careerists. Who seem to have decided already they would rather be on opposition because they can say they will do stuff they don't have to implement.
